Where to Ask Questions
If you have questions about trading, you can:
- Ask a moderator via a Private Message in the chat room
- Ask openly in the Trader’s Lounge chat room
- Ask during a live broadcast or Midweek Study Session
If you have questions about the IU service or technology, please submit a support request.
Asking Good Questions
While we encourage members to ask questions, we also ask that you be considerate of the time of our members and moderators.
If you want to get good answers, make sure to ask well-thought-out questions. You are likely to receive the best responses if it is clear that you are putting in the work and striving for self-sufficiency.
Consider the following before asking a question:
- Can a simple Google search answer the question?
- Is the question answered in IU coursework or resources?
- Are you asking someone if you should buy or sell a stock?
