Start the Prep Thursday – Seminar Sunday at 8PM EST

by | Jan 26, 2012

January 29th – 8PM EST

Let’s hit the ground running into the weekend with a lot of questions – think about them during the day – what stocks are you confused with? What calls, do you want to know why I did something or what I could have done better?

If you ask me during the day I can snap shot the chart and it makes it a lot easier on me and you come Sunday with a VISUAL explanation.

There is a lot going on right now, so many stocks – I’ll help you consolidate and focus and share what I do to keep my head on straight during the day. Fact is … too many stocks can through you off and make you miss a ton – LIKE ME … earlier this week.

Other times maybe a loss … you’re sitting there hoping praying it comes back and in the mean time you missed 2, 3 or 4 plays. I’ll cover that too – how to cut ’em loose … find the next. Even a great example with a member in chat who had struggled with it in the past – it comes down to losses that’s the most important piece of the puzzle and unfortunately to many people pay no attention to it.

What else? “Nate you shorted this but … can you go over where/why or what you saw”

Don’t just say like last time “Late day fade, I don’t get it” … “Huh, I don’t get it … ” “What, I don’t get it….” that’s not how w ework around here, put some time in … and I’ll put some time in for you – first you have to let me help you, and without any prep or just giving up right away – no sense even being here.

As always if you’re a new member BE SURE TO REVIEW THIS POWERPOINT + CHAT LOGS BEFORE SUNDAY.

  1. How exactly does Lebed pump $BVSN ? I know he has a newsletter mailer subscription on his website but thats it… ?? or is their hard mailers involved

  2. Question about Fast quick scalp trades: When u open a position @ XX.10 do u immediately put a sell order in @ XX.34 so it pops into it and gets executed? or do u just ride it and whatever price it becomes & sell into the offer

  3. Question about OTC & NITE: lets say the stocks bid/ask is 0.20 – 0.21 | Now I enter the ticker and on the L2 Montage; NITE is showing 0.18, does that mean if i want to buy the OFFER at 0.21 to get into the stock and have “NITE” chosen as my ROUTE, it wont go though? I never really chose a route before, I just had it on LMT and it picked whatever route, So I want to know since I heard u say before u use NITE for OTC pumps crazypenny/pennypic, Could u explain this topic

  6. Was wondering about the night scans that you put out every night the question I have is how do you form the bias if the stock will move up big or down big. Most times you call the play to a T and I was just wondering if you can explain how you come to those great calls and the second part of my question is how can a new trader like myself learn this skill. Thanks

  7. I have 2 question on Thursday trades:

1.) How could tell NFLX was going pop big in the AM? Seems I couldn’t notice/get till was up halfway to the top.

2.) What was the idea behind HSOL? I believe you were thinking it was going go up from 1.80s.

I might have add more questions after Friday’s trading.

  8. I was on chat today and you posted “ATRN textbook set up”, or something to
that effect. Can you elaborate on what made this textbook? What brought this up
on your scan before it broke? I am also curious as to what determines your entry
and exit points of a trade. You have stated repeatedly that you only use volume
and price to determine whether or not to trade, which is good (the simpler the
better), but where I struggle is when to get in and when to get out. Also, would
it be possible to get an electronic copy of your presentations in the new
members section? I would like to print some of the charts and slides, but did
not see where that option was available.

  9. One more question when calling a textbook trade that is going to break the HOD do you usually let it test after it broke HOD and then take it or just take it would out testing.I am asking because CIGX(January 26) broke HOD at 3:25 and then just faded away so do you usually let it test first. Thanks

  10. I have one more  question! I see you mentioning hidden buyers and hidden sellers what does that exactly mean? And how do you know this? Thanks

  11. Ok i lied I have more questions. Am  not saying “i just don’t get the ABCD chart” my question is what I asked you in PM i wanted to see if you can elaborate and explain does the ABCD chart apply only for a stock that hits HODs in the AM or does it apply to any chart that is breaking that high level even if its not high of day. That is what i am confused about. Can you also show it on a chart in all its forms if possible. I would greatly appreciate an explanation on these types of charts.  Thanks and I appreciate your time and help.

  12. I really like the whole atmosphere of IU chat, pure tickers from smart experienced traders. Will it stay like this or u have other plans to make it more commercialized n crowded with newer traders like prepromotionstocks. I like the way it is currently its not the typical ‘1 GURU giving SMS alerts’ its more like 10-15 very good traders sharing ideas and trades. Keep it up, I really enjoy it.

    • Yes I agree please dont commercialize it like Sykes and all those other sites!

  17. How do you trade?    What stocks are u buying  long or short at what price?  You say swoosh that but are you shorting that stock?  or spike that.   do u alert when you get out?  at what price??  What do you mean Textbook r/g    g/r  etc….

    • Not sure if this joke or for real…. If it’s for real please be sure to read what I said for seminar …. And secondly once done rephrase and ask more detailed and not as broad of a question … Remember if you want to become a good trader you need to put an honest effort in… Especially on the suggested seminar which answers most of that you said

      Reply
    • And don’t take it wrong if it wasn’t a joke .. this is just what I mean when I say …. “You have to first help yourself…. before I can help you” ….

Hope you reviewed some of the new member page – and above this I had one seminar for you to 100% go over – half your questions would have been answered

Terminology http://www.investorsunderground.com/chat-room-acronyms/ so the key here this weekend is to actually take some time …. and try first… try to understand and then if you have specific questions on examples I gave or where/what you don’t get than I can help but just like I wrote at the top of last seminar asking such broad questions “how do you trade” which shows you haven’t even read this seminar prep above …. it’s going to be hard for me to help you when everyone else has taken the time to at least do that.

  19. What does it mean for ur top 2-3 OTC promo companies when rich appell is running a whole newsletter on alerting a pump. Does  that mean theres going to be a bunch of traders in and promoters are going to have to shake them all out for real holders who think its going to 5$? or can it be a good thing for more volume to attract sheep holders

    • The only time I dont post is when its within a penny or two since its real time

      Reply
      • But at times noticed that with over $1 you dont list as well. i know you try maybe you just forget.

        • Show me examples and I can try to help… Unless its lower float or OTC which I don’t alert since it could move the market

          Reply
          • I cant go through everything now but sometimes i guess you forget.

          • Like I said, if it’s within a penny or two for the last few minutes than you can assume it’s the same price if it’s any different than I state it. Additionally if it’s lower float or OTC I don’t alert OR if I specifically spell out the trade my goal here is to teach people how to anticipate it themselves, so if it’s fully spelled out …… take a whack at it …… but if you’d like help or like clarity I’m always a PM away FYI …. always open for questions if unsure.

  23. You said on Fri that DANG was textbook wondering why you didnt take it and can you review that chart for me. Also can you go over the NSRS and why you bought it last 10 minutes.

    Reply
    • I can review the chart – I don’t trade every stock I mention …. I was trading others – as I’ve said on scan all week you can’t nail them all, if you try to … you’ll end up missing a majority of them … focus on a few if you have stocks that are working …. no need to take on another if you don’t want.

Can discuss NSRS again – make sure to see the chart I posted when I alerted the text book set up as well.

  24. First time poster here, just wanted to say I love the site and have
learned a bunch!  I’m fairly new so if my
questions are in the site somewhere please just direct me to the right
    place to read.

First ? For a newbie who is in account building mode under the PDT which
scan would you suggest to identify potential breakouts? I’m thinking
the 8% gainers and or the Rumbled One Code but just wanted to make sure
I’m on the right track……. And a add on to this is after I run the scan,
sort by % gainer/loser if you were focusing on buying breakouts, would
you concentrate on tickers close to a support level, for easy exit
strategy, or does it matter? Reason that I ask is bc for a lot of the tickers on the gainers scan they have already broken R so would we then be looking for a pullback and bounce play or a continued breakout? Trying to figure out how to maximize the scans..

Second, I’ve noticed during the trading day that if I have too many tickers on
my watch list I SEE a lot but don’t take advantage of most of it. In
your opinion is it a good idea for a newbie to narrow his watch list
to say 3-5 tickers so they can focus on good trades?

Have a couple more but I don’t know if these are in the seminars and I just haven’t gotten there yet.

    Thanks

  26. Hi,

Could you please post a screenshot/snapshot of how you have your DAS Pro setup. What has worked for you all these years so you have an ideal setup allowing you to monitor each play simultaneously. I have yet to find an ideal solution to have optimal amount of charts, but yet be able to keep an eye on all the plays in the mornings to see which one is ready.

I currently have mine setup on one 27″ Monitor, with 5 Charts. The charts are all linked to my Montage, and show the 1Min, 5min, 30min, and Daily of one particular watch! While this is great to show me each play in details, so I can look for different time frame breakouts, or breakdowns, in the mornings, I find it extremely tedious to have to click on 10 different symbols on my watchlist to bring up their charts and see if they are doing parabolic as at any given time, all my 4 charts are only showing one stock in different time frames.

I’ve a snapshot of my DAS Posted here, for your viewing pleasure so it represents better of what I’m talking about.

Like the ideas of a video blog or question blog as you suggested that is only ting i would change rest is perfect actually another idea is to see your charts during the day like FOUS does and that way everyone can see why he took the trade and learn better (member there as well he uses gotomeeting). Secondly how did you brush up your trading when you started off? Thirdly is trading with 5K  in Suretrader enough to make money in here or not? Fourth how can a new member learn your strategy the best and how long to master it? I wanted to tell you thanks for these seminars.

right away just let me know. I had you go over the set ups today prior to

But i cant identify them. I get that not every rg or gr is a buy but i would never be able to trade myself cause im not clear on what type of charts you love.

          • K I’ll cover it a little later on in the seminars since the last 3 seminars have included examples of this
