Sure they may go higher but comon! Let’s put more reward than risk in your portfolio!

  2. Thanks. I never know when to jump in and when to exit. I am newbie of course. Used to trade oil on my own and made some money, but this type of trading is new to me. So far I am only $300 down with my good oil trades, my buddy is down $800 and too scared to come back here… 🙂

    • I don’t trade oil so can’t help you there 🙂 but how about you review those seminars I posted above and then see if you have additional questions based off that new understanding

  3. I’m new. Pardon my ignornace.
    1. when you red/green, do you mean it went from a red candle to a green? If so, are you looking at a 1minute chart?
    2. which of the scanners listed at invunderground has the most consistent winning results?
    3. when you say a parabolic move do you mean you want to see a full u-shaped parabola? or are you still calling it parabolic when only one side of the u is present and the other side is very short, or even nearly non-existent?
    4. what broker do you rec’d? I’m leery of going with some of the lesser-knowns like speedtrader, etc as opposed to a bigtime broker like tdamerit. or scott. Do the small time players not have the same access to market makers, etc and hence have more trouble filling orders?
    5. any brokers who have are particularly bad or good for filling short orders?
alright, I’ve probably used up my question time. Is it cool to post multiple q’s like this?

  4. an you go over a little bit of what “gearing” looks like on a chart, just an uptrend?

i know pretty much every setup in the book, but im still getting stopped out all the time, sometimes at LOD which makes me really mad, anything to say about stops? it doesnt make you very comfortable when a stock breaks lod and a big red candle comes, but usually it pops right back after your stopped out (talking about morning dip type plays here in this example)

Most of the stocks that are gaining ground throughout the day are hot stocks that either opened green or popped green at some point (thus missing the r/g) do you have any comments on how to catch these things poping, inching, and gearing throughout the day after its already gone green?

  5. My question is about the recent plays

    1) FUQI on 1/20: This one was not on your scans, it had 3 down days and it opened red. Is it that r/g you liked? How you are able to spot such r/g plays? What is your strategy if it was a fake bounce?

Seems like you added 2.5k to your starter right away. Is it that “gradual increase in 1min vol” you liked?

    2) HDY on 1/21: It had 3 down days and it was on your scan. You took 1/3rd at 9:32am on a big 56.8K 1min red candle (which was 3rd red 1min candle and no green candles at that time)

Is “3 down days” a key here? Did you add your 2/3rd a few cents before the r/g at 9:35:47?
