Seminar for the 1st of May (Mostly OTCs)

by | May 2, 2011

[May 1, 2011 8:00:10 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Wassup all – we’ll do same format as always – questions asked this time weren’t really much related to visuals so I have most written down – then we can open it up and if you have more questions for myself, Muddy or Laura feel free to ask

[May 1, 2011 8:00:27 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive We’ll stick to topic clarify anything as we go along

[May 1, 2011 8:00:32 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and then it’s open

[May 1, 2011 8:00:50 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Most are related to OTCs – more than likely because of the market right now

[May 1, 2011 8:01:11 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: You often refer to stocks “thinning up” can you explain what this means and how we should be reacting to it? Also, what does imo mean? I see it all the time and did not find it in the jargon….

[May 1, 2011 8:01:44 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive It’s in the OTC related seminar but it refers to the Level 2 being stacked with offers and then all of a sudden there’s really only 2 left and then all the market makers jump up a dime or so, usually this begins an inch inch breakout type move that as you know I suggest locking in at least SOME (doesn’t have to be all).

[May 1, 2011 8:01:55 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive For example this week with LTUM AMEL etc had a bunch of vol then all of a sudden they pretty much chewed through all the immediate sellers and after that it started upticking much faster.

[May 1, 2011 8:02:48 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive You see it many times as it approaches resistance, it may have a lot of offers

[May 1, 2011 8:02:57 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but then when it breaks a whole cent level like .05 .. .10 etc

[May 1, 2011 8:03:08 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive it may start to thin up and you see a break through that level and a quick pop

[May 1, 2011 8:03:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive any questions regarding this question?

[May 1, 2011 8:03:49 PM EDT]     boomerpdt         offers meaning bids, right?

[May 1, 2011 8:03:53 PM EDT]     splendores         Thinning up means it might move faster?

[May 1, 2011 8:04:01 PM EDT]     wcwc69                offer = ask

[May 1, 2011 8:04:09 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive right wcw – no bids are bids

[May 1, 2011 8:04:10 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive offers are offers

[May 1, 2011 8:04:15 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive bid x ask .. bid x offer

[May 1, 2011 8:04:46 PM EDT]     TheDean              For the sake of answering the 2nd part of the question, could you tell us what ‘imo’ mean?

[May 1, 2011 8:04:58 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive thinning up is a percurso to a move faster

[May 1, 2011 8:05:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive many times splendors

[May 1, 2011 8:05:12 PM EDT]     splendores         Kk

[May 1, 2011 8:05:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive doesn’t necessarily mean it is GOING to but … IF it’s going to speed up yes

[May 1, 2011 8:05:44 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive what dean? “imo” ?

[May 1, 2011 8:05:51 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive you mean ‘in my opinion’ ?

[May 1, 2011 8:06:19 PM EDT]     cbrought21         imo yes, see it a lot. In my opinion.

[May 1, 2011 8:06:21 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive oh actually ha I read over that

[May 1, 2011 8:06:23 PM EDT]     Laura basic internet shorthand that one

[May 1, 2011 8:06:25 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive the first time on the question

[May 1, 2011 8:06:28 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive yes, google it!

[May 1, 2011 8:06:32 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive brb means be right back also

[May 1, 2011 8:06:33 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive fyi

[May 1, 2011 8:06:35 PM EDT]     cbrought21         hahah

[May 1, 2011 8:06:48 PM EDT]     Laura I google everything before I ask anyone

[May 1, 2011 8:06:53 PM EDT]     TheDean              I knew what it meant, I just noticed that you didn’t answer the question. Sorry I shoulda just said imo = in my opinion

[May 1, 2011 8:06:58 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive any further questions regarding thinning up?

[May 1, 2011 8:07:10 PM EDT]     splendores         No

[May 1, 2011 8:07:30 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: In regards to bid/ask…what’s the ideal setup we should be looking for to go long. When the bid/ask are closest together what does it tell us; when they are far apart what does it tell us?

[May 1, 2011 8:08:25 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive The level 2 is really what you make of it – there is no right answer nor does my opinion mean your view of it is wrong. Level 2 interpretation is something completely subjective – which is why I’d suggest watching it with moves that either you “want” to nail, or usually play and see if you can pick up things over and over and either you’ll find it helpful or not. There is no right or wrong set up to go long – that’s why you trade price action and volume and you can use Level 2 as a secondary indicator.

[May 1, 2011 8:09:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive regarding “far apart”

[May 1, 2011 8:09:23 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive on the contrary

[May 1, 2011 8:09:34 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive sometimes you’ll see Muddy or I

[May 1, 2011 8:09:37 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive say “getting tight”

[May 1, 2011 8:09:38 PM EDT]     Coalission            L2 can be a trap for a noob

[May 1, 2011 8:09:52 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive exacty Coal – which is why it’s good to just watch and learn

[May 1, 2011 8:10:00 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and when you can start making decisions based on it – then ur good

[May 1, 2011 8:10:13 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive otherwise you take what I say and screw yourself

[May 1, 2011 8:10:27 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive ie: I tell chat VERT is dumping heavy

[May 1, 2011 8:10:43 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive because I’m watching a specific stock where he’s only one on offer and not moving and volume pouring in

[May 1, 2011 8:10:51 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and then next day I get 10 PMs

[May 1, 2011 8:11:03 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive “VERT is on offer of XYZ, does that mean I should sell?”

[May 1, 2011 8:11:08 PM EDT]     Coalission            lol

[May 1, 2011 8:11:19 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive these are the problems I run into when discussing Level 2

[May 1, 2011 8:11:35 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive which is why I suggest and talk about it in the way I do – Muddy doesn’t even use it but he also doesn’t trade OTCs as aggresively

[May 1, 2011 8:12:00 PM EDT]     Laura ya, we don’t use L2 or trade OTCs too much

[May 1, 2011 8:12:03 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but – stepping back to what I was saying prior – many times you’ll see Muddy or myself say “tightening up”

[May 1, 2011 8:12:15 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive this is related to bid/ask going from lets say a big spread

[May 1, 2011 8:12:24 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and ripped big .. pulled back and then it tightens up

[May 1, 2011 8:12:26 PM EDT]     Laura sometimes he gets a fell for one, but we do fine with Naz

[May 1, 2011 8:12:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive which usually means the market is forming and a trend may follow

[May 1, 2011 8:12:58 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive fell = feel

[May 1, 2011 8:13:06 PM EDT]     Laura duh

[May 1, 2011 8:13:08 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive he doesn’t usually fall for them 🙂

[May 1, 2011 8:13:08 PM EDT]     Laura lol

[May 1, 2011 8:13:19 PM EDT]     Thatcher              Did that sort of thing pop up with LEXG last week?

[May 1, 2011 8:13:22 PM EDT]     chillax    tighter spread usually+ more interest in stovk

[May 1, 2011 8:13:49 PM EDT]     Coalission            LEXG shouldnt be used as future reference

[May 1, 2011 8:13:57 PM EDT]     Coalission            it will slaughter your account

[May 1, 2011 8:14:39 PM EDT]     Coalission            100% orchestrated run up that showed irrelevant signals that won’t mean anything in future trading

[May 1, 2011 8:14:54 PM EDT]     Thatcher              gotcha

[May 1, 2011 8:15:03 PM EDT]     Ironman               I think just through hours adn hours of screen time, trades, and just showin gup on daily basis is what will help you becom ebetter at level 2 and reading the tape. Did for me. You just have to have experience with situations you see repeatedly then becomes second nature to be able to spot it

[May 1, 2011 8:15:13 PM EDT]     Coalission            “oh I remember LEXG did this, im going allin” <<< big no no

[May 1, 2011 8:16:11 PM EDT]     Thatcher              thinkorswim’s level 2 isn’t really a full level 2, is it?

[May 1, 2011 8:17:14 PM EDT]     BrianH   I was wondering that myself Thatcher.

[May 1, 2011 8:17:45 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          thinkorswim is terrible for OTC penny stocks imo, just good the mainstream Nasdaq stocks

[May 1, 2011 8:17:48 PM EDT]     Jaymo   It is for nasdaw, etc

[May 1, 2011 8:17:52 PM EDT]     Jaymo   nasdaq&

[May 1, 2011 8:17:53 PM EDT]     ramkia  TD Ameritrade has other L2 tools that are better than what TOS shows. TOS L2 is no good.

[May 1, 2011 8:18:06 PM EDT]     Jaymo   but otc/pink it’s not

[May 1, 2011 8:18:14 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          Strategy Desk is better than tos for OTC stocks

[May 1, 2011 8:18:55 PM EDT]     Thatcher              thanks all

[May 1, 2011 8:19:15 PM EDT]     Coalission            why is TOS terrible for otc?

[May 1, 2011 8:19:45 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          not sure, probably a different data provider

[May 1, 2011 8:19:58 PM EDT]     ramkia  TD Ameritrade cust rep told me the feed TOS bought for OTC sucks. He recomended not touse TOS for OTC.

[May 1, 2011 8:20:22 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          yep, TDA recommends Strategy Desk for OTCs

[May 1, 2011 8:20:43 PM EDT]     Coalission            I use Fidelity just for the pimp gold debit card they send you when you hit a certain amount in your brokerage account

[May 1, 2011 8:20:46 PM EDT]     Coalission            does that make me shallow

[May 1, 2011 8:21:11 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          🙂

[May 1, 2011 8:22:03 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive ah crapppp

[May 1, 2011 8:22:10 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive what was last thing I said?

[May 1, 2011 8:22:14 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive my girl signed me off

[May 1, 2011 8:22:50 PM EDT]     BrianH   (May 01-20:13) InvestorsLive: he doesn’t usually fall for them

[May 1, 2011 8:22:57 PM EDT]     splendores         Agh I thought it was cause I’m on a flight 🙂 amazing what works nowadays

[May 1, 2011 8:22:59 PM EDT]     chillax    ‘ he dosen’t usually faal for them’

[May 1, 2011 8:22:59 PM EDT]     Jerome u were talking about L2 thinnning up

[May 1, 2011 8:23:24 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive argh ok I see 1 sec I just went thru ful question sorry

[May 1, 2011 8:23:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive TOS sucks for OTCs – no level 2

[May 1, 2011 8:23:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive DAS Trader by far the best

[May 1, 2011 8:24:04 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive alright – so any further questions regarding that question

[May 1, 2011 8:24:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive or sha’ll I go on to the one I already answered in lala land apparently

[May 1, 2011 8:24:57 PM EDT]     cbrought21         Got it…ready for more.

[May 1, 2011 8:25:07 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: I see that you (IL) are nailing those tops and especially the dips. Is there anything you could suggest for us to watch for in level 2, charts, ect… How did you call that bottom on LEXG @ sub $4 when it was tanking? Was it just good risk/reward at that level… or did you see something in volume or L2?

[May 1, 2011 8:25:10 PM EDT]     splendores         Yep go ahead

[May 1, 2011 8:25:23 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I coupled 2 questions from the q’s submitted

[May 1, 2011 8:25:34 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive besides heavy meditation and becoming one with the stock Gods when I was asked this Friday in chat

[May 1, 2011 8:25:42 PM EDT]     BrianH   LOL

[May 1, 2011 8:25:52 PM EDT]     Jerome I remember that

[May 1, 2011 8:26:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive long answer:

[May 1, 2011 8:26:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I’d suggest just to pull it up and watch it as the play unfolds, that’s how I learned. Like I’ve said in every other seminar if I tell you one thing – your interpretation of it may be different and from that point forward you may start applying it to your trading and miss out or make assumptions based off your internal thoughts that happen to be wrong.

[May 1, 2011 8:26:44 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I watch to see who the main players are in the box, who has been main support all along, what are they doing, are they absorbing, bid/ask etc. Regarding bounces if you haven’t checked out the OTC seminar labeled bounces which is one of my favorite suggested three – I would consider doing so.

[May 1, 2011 8:27:11 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive The key is just not being greedy on tops, sell into inch inch breakouts, most times it’ll always come back at some point and if you want to buy back in. Regarding bottoms in that same seminar that has been suggested prior to this one – for me it’s about all the market makers coming on the right side + watching the bids NOT move while soaking in a boat load of shares + general idea that IF the bids don’t hold WHAT IF? Am I ok with the downside risk of -50%? All factored into one ends up being my entry thought process.

[May 1, 2011 8:27:52 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive so the last comment is essentially what I did and what I saw – you may or may not get it – those that are close to learning how to take advantage of the level 2 probably get it, those that don’t just keep it up when trading OTCs and get familiar with it

[May 1, 2011 8:28:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive The other thing about the LEXG example

[May 1, 2011 8:28:23 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive nailed it and it bounced went to $4 but in order to have a real bounce many times you’ll see stuff shake twice

[May 1, 2011 8:28:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive so it re-tested the EXACT double bottom

[May 1, 2011 8:28:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive which if you remember (if not check chat logs)

[May 1, 2011 8:28:47 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I mentioned double bottom here .76 or .77

[May 1, 2011 8:29:01 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive if it held and reversed again – that was gonna be the one that carries the ‘power upticks’ with it

[May 1, 2011 8:29:03 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          yes, that’s when I got in too

[May 1, 2011 8:29:11 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and as you sw within about 3-4 min we were at 4.25

[May 1, 2011 8:29:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and it was siiiiiiiiick my favorite play hands down and it’s my best trade

[May 1, 2011 8:29:31 PM EDT]     wcwc69                that double bottom confirmation was soo good

[May 1, 2011 8:29:35 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive best trade = the bounce

[May 1, 2011 8:29:35 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive yup

[May 1, 2011 8:29:41 PM EDT]     wcwc69                love bounces

[May 1, 2011 8:29:44 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          absolutely, that ride to 6.7 was killer

[May 1, 2011 8:30:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive any questions regarding this one?

[May 1, 2011 8:30:11 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive in addition there was a few of you who tried to trade it after…

[May 1, 2011 8:30:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I said its CHOP CHOP now

[May 1, 2011 8:30:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive no defined play

[May 1, 2011 8:30:30 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and then I get PMs I bought the bounce I’m down now what should I do

[May 1, 2011 8:30:37 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I can’t help you guys if you buy random

[May 1, 2011 8:30:45 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    That would be from me…..lol

[May 1, 2011 8:30:47 PM EDT]     Ironman               you usually only get 1 solid bounce

[May 1, 2011 8:30:51 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          IL, could you list the other 2 favorite seminars you eluded too

[May 1, 2011 8:31:05 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive In addition – the move is way to sketchy that no one wants to hold over the weekend in case … SEC .. etc

[May 1, 2011 8:31:15 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive rovingeyes they’re all listed on the new members page

[May 1, 2011 8:31:17 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    A lesson that cost me alot to learn follow IL’s lead always!!

[May 1, 2011 8:31:28 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive no

[May 1, 2011 8:31:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive don’t follow ILs lead

[May 1, 2011 8:31:50 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive use ILs comments as a potential indicator

[May 1, 2011 8:31:54 PM EDT]     Laura no, you guys gotta develop your own ways to trade

[May 1, 2011 8:31:55 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but no, don’t follow the leader

[May 1, 2011 8:32:00 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I don’t want that sh*t

[May 1, 2011 8:32:12 PM EDT]     Laura I don’t follow IL but sometimes.

[May 1, 2011 8:32:13 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    OK correction do not follow IL’s lead

[May 1, 2011 8:32:24 PM EDT]     Laura all develop own ways to trade

[May 1, 2011 8:33:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive My goal here is to put trades in front of you that are set ups and/or nearing a set up that I’ve covered zillions of times

[May 1, 2011 8:33:05 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive over and over

[May 1, 2011 8:33:17 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive my goal is not to say in XYZ watch it spike .20 cents and take profits

[May 1, 2011 8:33:44 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive goal is to turn you guys into fishermen not fish

[May 1, 2011 8:34:13 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Questions related to this question above?

[May 1, 2011 8:34:25 PM EDT]     Ironman               Follow the markets lead through vol+price action and your own startegy an dpain tolerances. if not you wil never have confidence just wondering what so and so is doing and what shoul di do. not goo dto be asking yourself those questions

[May 1, 2011 8:34:56 PM EDT]     Jerome good point

[May 1, 2011 8:35:29 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: How can you know(or come close to knowing) from looking at the chart that a stock has reached its top or bottom during an intra day run? I am interested in knowing for both big boards and OTCs.

[May 1, 2011 8:35:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Practice practice pratice, you’re in the right place – over time you’ll start to say, holy %%%% now I get it. Over time you’ll say alright I’m in… woah it’s speeding up I’m taking some off – and over time you’ll see price action and volume relation and see where price doesn’t move but volume pours – which is a good start to the top and bottom – BUT not always – there’s always the unknown.

[May 1, 2011 8:36:24 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive You’re never going to know the top

[May 1, 2011 8:36:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive if I knew LEXG top

[May 1, 2011 8:36:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I woulda held my 150k from below 1.30

[May 1, 2011 8:36:41 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive a bit longer

[May 1, 2011 8:36:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and banked $1.5m+

[May 1, 2011 8:36:50 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive sh*t happens

[May 1, 2011 8:36:57 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive <— more often than not

[May 1, 2011 8:37:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I sell too early

[May 1, 2011 8:37:13 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive whatever, I put profits in my account – I do that every day it adds up

[May 1, 2011 8:37:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I don’t make $$ by home runs

[May 1, 2011 8:37:24 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I make money by trading what I see and taking the profits

[May 1, 2011 8:37:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive on the flip side, you could ride a stop loss on Nasdaq types

[May 1, 2011 8:37:41 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive trailing stop

[May 1, 2011 8:37:46 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive stuff like that

[May 1, 2011 8:38:01 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Questions on that topic?

[May 1, 2011 8:38:26 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          what’s the best tool to observe price/vol action?

[May 1, 2011 8:38:36 PM EDT]     splendores         What about a trailing stop on a very liquid OTC like lexg?

[May 1, 2011 8:39:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive you would have stopped out how many times on LEXG?

[May 1, 2011 8:39:22 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I mean just look at intraday

[May 1, 2011 8:39:38 PM EDT]     Coalission            question on putting $150k on LEXG

[May 1, 2011 8:39:59 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive roving – chart is a good indicator to see price/vol action

[May 1, 2011 8:40:13 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          tos chart?

[May 1, 2011 8:40:19 PM EDT]     Coalission            how do you decide which OTCs to do that on? LEXG was obvious pump from get go, but there are many like that, how do you decide which ones to throw that much money at? Just average money volume past few days?

[May 1, 2011 8:40:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive whatever

[May 1, 2011 8:40:26 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    yeah how did you pick that to put money on was it a pump

[May 1, 2011 8:40:27 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive doesn’t really matter, whatever you like roving

[May 1, 2011 8:42:59 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive VRMLQ wasn’t a pump

[May 1, 2011 8:43:01 PM EDT]     Coalission            TTNP

[May 1, 2011 8:44:01 PM EDT]     Jerome Been looking for that scan for ever!

[May 1, 2011 8:44:10 PM EDT]     Coalission            hard to find

[May 1, 2011 8:44:12 PM EDT]     Coalission            elusive

[May 1, 2011 8:44:38 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Any further questons related to this topic?

[May 1, 2011 8:44:43 PM EDT]     karmakazi            Yes

[May 1, 2011 8:45:12 PM EDT]     karmakazi            When you buy 65k shares of one stock, are you doing it in one shot or scaling in?

[May 1, 2011 8:45:14 PM EDT]     Thatcher              does it take time to build up the knowledge to make a good scanner?

[May 1, 2011 8:46:10 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive always scale karma

[May 1, 2011 8:46:14 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and trade around

[May 1, 2011 8:46:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive build a position

[May 1, 2011 8:46:28 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but 1.20 sell 1.40 (some)

[May 1, 2011 8:46:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive snag more 1.20 sell 1.35

[May 1, 2011 8:46:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive continually using profits to snag a bit more and keep a lower avg cost per share

[May 1, 2011 8:47:07 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Thatcher – no u could just click page 5 of seminars towards the end and run the EquityFeed Scanner

[May 1, 2011 8:47:14 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive or click Scanner Set up and run any of those

[May 1, 2011 8:47:17 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive not very hard at all

[May 1, 2011 8:47:25 PM EDT]     Thatcher              ah cool

[May 1, 2011 8:47:37 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive in case you didn’t catch it – the scanner about the one that tells us which will run and which won’t…

[May 1, 2011 8:47:39 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive that one was a joke

[May 1, 2011 8:48:17 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: I have been looking wherever I could on the net to find more about how those are planned. If you take the most proficient promoters, how do they manage to get the stock hitting such highs? I understand that they disseminate mailers, emails to their lists, then the stock picks up momentum and others join in, ect, ect… But, is there any relations between promoters and market makers in a stock being pumped? Do the promoter act upon a stock by selling and buying at certain points to control the price? Also, do you think before they even start a promo, they have a target

[May 1, 2011 8:48:19 PM EDT]     Thatcher              heh

[May 1, 2011 8:48:52 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive re there relationships between promoters and market makers? Sure, like I’ve stated many times when we find crazypenny before they release – we see the common players in the market on both bid and ask playing actively in the market. If you watch their plays (let’s say the top 3 I like in the suggested reading) than we know what market makers are in the market for those specific deals – can they switch it up? Sure. Do they? Not always, occasionally.

[May 1, 2011 8:49:22 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Acting upon stock by selling and buying? I don’t know – I don’t think this question will help you trade better. Do they have a target prior to going out? Who knows, this won’t help you trade better.

[May 1, 2011 8:49:30 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Focus on the trades at hand, focus on the volume and focus on trend. Do they usually carry support through the first day? Yes… does that mean it’s a safe buy on all dips? (question of what if…. what if they pull plug, what if they re buy a bunch and don’t want anymore? what if?)

[May 1, 2011 8:50:15 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Example: WRIT GDGI = good

[May 1, 2011 8:50:21 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Example: ALZM MDFI = bad

[May 1, 2011 8:50:36 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive did I lose MDFI dip buy? Yes

[May 1, 2011 8:51:03 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive why? cuz usually BDPS newsletter has a good play and 9 outta 10 times it woulda worked out

[May 1, 2011 8:51:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive so focus on good trading rather than questions that aren’t going to help you

[May 1, 2011 8:51:28 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive knowing that stuff won’t help you as a trader

[May 1, 2011 8:51:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Any questions on that topic?

[May 1, 2011 8:51:58 PM EDT]     Jerome I understand, it was more as general knowledge

[May 1, 2011 8:52:35 PM EDT]     Coalission            is JAMN one that would meet the same $ vol. criteria as LEXG

[May 1, 2011 8:52:45 PM EDT]     Coalission            havent heard much about that, but trades sick money

[May 1, 2011 8:52:49 PM EDT]     Coalission            curius why LEXG got all hyper

[May 1, 2011 8:52:54 PM EDT]     Coalission            hypey*

[May 1, 2011 8:53:07 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive JAMN been trading forever – started to speed up now that the $2 broke

[May 1, 2011 8:53:11 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but LEXG was a short squeeze

[May 1, 2011 8:53:23 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive if JAMN goes $3-4 and trades millions I’m sure we’ll talk about that one more too

[May 1, 2011 8:53:53 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive just look at JAMN trend vs. LEXG trend

[May 1, 2011 8:53:57 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive intraday swings etc

[May 1, 2011 8:54:00 PM EDT]     Coalission            i just saw a JAMN banner on yahoo finance front page earlier today, so $ being spent for sure

[May 1, 2011 8:54:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive that should answer your question

[May 1, 2011 8:54:14 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: Shakeouts? There purpose? are the market makers or A market maker will shake people out just to get the pps lower so he can buy-in cheaper? And also, is this something done to create more momentum eventually and attract buyers?

[May 1, 2011 8:54:24 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Shakeouts is just that, shake out. Shake out the weak hands. Easier to control a stock if everyone doesn’t have 100k shares at the bottom – what happens if I held by 150k shares under $1.30 average of LEXG? Would they have been able to take it to $3 if me and 20 other people held all that size? Who knows? Is it easier if they shake it along the way and spread the shares out to numerous individuals/koolaid drinkers/’investors’/traders continually taking the shares out of a “few” and putting it into the hands of many? Yes – that’s how building a shareholder base works

[May 1, 2011 8:55:12 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Any questions on that topic?

[May 1, 2011 8:56:01 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: I think this is an important question for those considering trading full time and I wanna hear some opinion from those that are doing it right now. What kind of confirmation/success should you have when you’re deciding whether to go full-time trading. I am one year away from graduating… I need to decide what to do with my life. I know there is a lot of money to be made but working without any social interaction is a downside. Could you go through the pros/cons of full-time trading and what kind of experience should you have before you decide to go pro?

[May 1, 2011 8:56:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I don’t really have a list of pros and cons… I mean… short commute to work each day (gas prices- who cares?) … my social interaction is within the chat room – gym each day with many familiar faces and drinks here and there during the week with friends – your social interaction is whatever you do with it … that’s up to you. Is it like college? Heck no, neither is a real job – you’re going to have shock wherever you go after college – college was the time of my life.

[May 1, 2011 8:56:39 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Confirmation bias is really fueled by having a year’s salary or two (do I have that #? no.. that’s whatever you consider a year’s salary) in the bank so you don’t have to come to the market each day and say I NEED to make this or weeks end (Friday) and you are down 200 on the week and you NEED to make $1k TODAY. Chances are you’ll force a trade and lose $1k instead.

[May 1, 2011 8:57:01 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive You can’t trade with scared money. If you do and you’re emotional about it … you won’t last. You need to be confident in your trading and need to come to the market ready to pull money out of it. Can you trade without the 1-2 years’ salary in the bank? Sure if you have a bit of time to figure it out without debt and bills that you HAVE to meet.

[May 1, 2011 8:57:17 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Any questions on this topic?

[May 1, 2011 8:57:25 PM EDT]     Coalission            dont forget sample size

[May 1, 2011 8:57:46 PM EDT]     Coalission            i remember the online poker “pros” who went pro because 10000 hands played with good results lol

[May 1, 2011 8:57:52 PM EDT]     wcwc69                yes IL how long did you trade before you turned pro? and also how much did u have saved up

[May 1, 2011 8:58:00 PM EDT]     Jerome social interaction at work is for the most part like a bad relationship

[May 1, 2011 8:58:22 PM EDT]     Jerome ahah.. with a girlfriend

[May 1, 2011 8:58:30 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I started in college, had made my money so started outright – didn’t go through that phase

[May 1, 2011 8:59:06 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive plus tyguy moving back to New Hampshire soon wooohoo we get to fly electric helicopters around my living room again and shoot the sh*t and have beer Fridays

[May 1, 2011 9:03:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive SpeedTrader

[May 1, 2011 9:03:19 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but

[May 1, 2011 9:03:23 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive any questions related to teh last topic please?

[May 1, 2011 9:03:28 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive otherwise I’ll move on

[May 1, 2011 9:03:47 PM EDT]     BrianH   no questions here

[May 1, 2011 9:03:49 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: What are you looking at that you know “when the shorts are coming in and when there is a short squeeze?” When I see those comments in the chat room, I am not sure what to expect after you say it. Can you go over what you are looking at and what can be the results from those situations?

[May 1, 2011 9:04:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Short squeeze – perfect example was last week on LEXG. You saw it start to poke up on air, it would sink on the morning panic you’d see all the normal suspects that short (if you watch Level 2 you’d see many of the same active OTC traders ie: WDCO CSTI ASCM TRAS BMAS BMIC etc etc) on the offer and then it’ll reverse pop on air and you’ll see them back off and each day they’ll try to all jump on it and break it down. They you start to see them compete on the bid to buy the shares back and as you saw it really popped.

[May 1, 2011 9:04:41 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive on the other side – Nasadqs

[May 1, 2011 9:04:43 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Other current examples have been REDF and SIFY lately where the price action out of the open has been morning squeezes/parabolic followed by a quick pull back – look at the charts it’s been steady up looks over extended but yet keeps pushing higher – those whom are short (may) get scared in the morning and cover into the morning strength/rush causing an AM parabolic/pop.

[May 1, 2011 9:05:43 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Any questions

[May 1, 2011 9:06:32 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive related to that topic of course

[May 1, 2011 9:06:44 PM EDT]     topcat   I bought 500 shares of INSP @ $10.00. It’s now $9.00. do u think it will eventually go back 2 10?

[May 1, 2011 9:07:52 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive thx guys

[May 1, 2011 9:08:23 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: Playing with an account below 10k, being a somewhat well educated newbie, do you suggest long over short, NASDAQ over Pink and OTC or should this be a personal choice to make.

[May 1, 2011 9:08:36 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Well Pink and OTCs are much riskier but provide some serious % gains as of late – and if you stick with technically stable charts your risk vs. reward is in your favor. Buy off support levels when it’s perking (as shown in the suggested reading) and DON’T INVEST IN THEM! If you do, unsubscribe, stop paying for data because you’re not going to make it!

[May 1, 2011 9:08:51 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive what this means – in a nutshell IS:

[May 1, 2011 9:09:00 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive don’t trade the LEXG type bounces

[May 1, 2011 9:09:08 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive don’t trade JAMN if it randomly cracks near EOD

[May 1, 2011 9:09:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive don’t trade the pumps back side after the move up

[May 1, 2011 9:09:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive play the front side promo – first time you see it – not after its ran

[May 1, 2011 9:09:39 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and if it doesn’t do what you anticipated – then move on

[May 1, 2011 9:09:42 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive DONT INVEST in them

[May 1, 2011 9:09:48 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive DONT INVEST IN THEM!

[May 1, 2011 9:12:57 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive lol

[May 1, 2011 9:12:59 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive anyway

[May 1, 2011 9:13:07 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: Are sizes between 600-1k per trade ok for this account size?

[May 1, 2011 9:13:12 PM EDT]     Laura me? short?

[May 1, 2011 9:13:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive It’s more about the risk vs. reward – sure that’s a good size but if you’re playing $1k in something that has no history and can tank 50% is that an ok size? So it’s more about playing with the odds in your favor.

[May 1, 2011 9:13:18 PM EDT]     Laura yes

[May 1, 2011 9:13:32 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive $10k acct

[May 1, 2011 9:13:36 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive $600-$1k sure

[May 1, 2011 9:13:36 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but

[May 1, 2011 9:13:42 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive just realize that if you have $500-600 in

[May 1, 2011 9:13:50 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive you need a 10% move to make $50-60 bucks

[May 1, 2011 9:13:59 PM EDT]     Laura I think that is good share size for that account. Don’t bet the farm.

[May 1, 2011 9:14:12 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive share size – 600-1k shares is yes good

[May 1, 2011 9:14:12 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive imo

[May 1, 2011 9:14:18 PM EDT]     Laura yes Nate, but if new trader it works

[May 1, 2011 9:14:25 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive right right absolutely

[May 1, 2011 9:14:29 PM EDT]     Laura agree

[May 1, 2011 9:14:29 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and u can even do 100 shares

[May 1, 2011 9:14:33 PM EDT]     splendores         kk

[May 1, 2011 9:14:37 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive we had a trader here that didn’t care about comissions

[May 1, 2011 9:14:38 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but

[May 1, 2011 9:14:43 PM EDT]     Laura make $50 and bank it

[May 1, 2011 9:14:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive want to just trade the ‘idea’

[May 1, 2011 9:14:48 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and make it be real

[May 1, 2011 9:14:51 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and would do 100 shares

[May 1, 2011 9:14:56 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive just to go thru the motions

[May 1, 2011 9:14:56 PM EDT]     Jerome Relaax!

[May 1, 2011 9:15:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive nah

[May 1, 2011 9:15:06 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive some1 else – but

[May 1, 2011 9:15:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive his goal was to just go thru the motions – show that he could do it, picking exits etc

[May 1, 2011 9:15:27 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and then slowly moved it up from there

[May 1, 2011 9:15:43 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive cuz paper trading only so much – then use real $$ u can go tiny

[May 1, 2011 9:15:52 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and whne you’re ready – go for it 500/1000 shares whatever

[May 1, 2011 9:16:03 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive BUT take into consideration the range

[May 1, 2011 9:16:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive VHC when its ranging $3/day +

[May 1, 2011 9:16:18 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and its $23

[May 1, 2011 9:16:20 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive vs MSFT

[May 1, 2011 9:16:26 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive it’s ‘safer’ to play 2k MSFT

[May 1, 2011 9:16:30 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive than 500 VHC

[May 1, 2011 9:16:42 PM EDT]     Coalission            lol @ i was a believer

[May 1, 2011 9:16:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive do you get that example? ur risk prob greater on VHC

[May 1, 2011 9:16:58 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive so TAKE INTO CONSIDERATION the range

[May 1, 2011 9:17:03 PM EDT]     chillax    share size=stop size

[May 1, 2011 9:17:08 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive is this stock moving cents or dollars?

[May 1, 2011 9:17:15 PM EDT]     splendores         I will get it. will look at the price of both and charts after

[May 1, 2011 9:17:35 PM EDT]     splendores         got it

[May 1, 2011 9:17:51 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Questions on THAT topic?

[May 1, 2011 9:18:02 PM EDT]     Coalission            yes]

[May 1, 2011 9:18:50 PM EDT]     Coalission            so do you guys think it’s better for people starting out to trade with amounts they don’t feel, like starting small, or better to start bigger than their comfort level to test themselves and their emotions to swings?

[May 1, 2011 9:19:27 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive unless you use real $

[May 1, 2011 9:19:31 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive you won’t have the emotions

[May 1, 2011 9:19:36 PM EDT]     Coalission            i feel like someone trading too small or even worse paper is a baby duckling that will get clobbered first time something doesnt go his/her way

[May 1, 2011 9:19:42 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but it’s ok to go SMALL to just see if your REAL entry

[May 1, 2011 9:19:46 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive his lower than your exit

[May 1, 2011 9:19:49 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive more times than not

[May 1, 2011 9:19:57 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and if it isn’t, that you’re stick to the rules

[May 1, 2011 9:20:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive ie: go thru the motions

[May 1, 2011 9:20:08 PM EDT]     Coalission            true

[May 1, 2011 9:20:14 PM EDT]     wcwc69                i dunno why anyone would start big if theyre starting…

[May 1, 2011 9:20:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive then as you get better go from 100 to 300 … 300 to 500 .. 500 to 1000 etc

[May 1, 2011 9:20:30 PM EDT]     Coalission            not big, but it has to hurt a little

[May 1, 2011 9:20:36 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Oh, peeps start big when they first start, make some good $$

[May 1, 2011 9:20:38 PM EDT]     abulloch               also, Coal, you just answered your own q, surely: if you’re ‘beyond your comfort level’ then you’ll be (re)-acting emotionally

[May 1, 2011 9:20:42 PM EDT]     Coalission            only way to truly have discipline is if the risk is real

[May 1, 2011 9:20:42 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and then you never hear form them again

[May 1, 2011 9:20:47 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive after they blow up

[May 1, 2011 9:20:49 PM EDT]     Coalission            trading pennies is pointless

[May 1, 2011 9:20:51 PM EDT]     abulloch               and that means you’ll be focussin on making money

[May 1, 2011 9:21:02 PM EDT]     Coalission            not penny stocks, i mean like trading very small amounts

[May 1, 2011 9:21:03 PM EDT]     abulloch               instead of on making Good Trades

[May 1, 2011 9:21:16 PM EDT]     rovingeyes          IL, one last broker-related question — are SpeedTrader and DAS Trader the same company?

[May 1, 2011 9:21:29 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive DAS is the software

[May 1, 2011 9:21:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: After a loss (or a win for that matter), should one keep trading with the same size per trade as before or is it advisable to feel listen to feelings (scared, cocky are two that enter my mind) and trade accordingly?

[May 1, 2011 9:21:53 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Always trade the same way unless you’re crazy hot and want to keep rollin’ with it (which I do at times) but if you’re in account building mode – just focus on good trading and take one trade at a time. You’ll have plenty of time later to crank it up once you have a nice padding. At this stage in the game – if you trade well you’re account will build and that’s the bottom line. At this point with my trading I don’t focus on the $$ in each trade I focus on the size I am going to play in shares and what the risk is against me or for me … and if I’m ok with that risk I will play – I don’t care if I have $1,000 in or $200,000 in – if my risk is defined down to $500-1,000 than I will play accordingly (like TZOO for example on the ‘high’ size of $$ in the trade). On the other side – you could trade the same amount per trade like Muddy and you’ll always know what a 10-20% move yields.

[May 1, 2011 9:22:45 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive my point sorta like what I was saying above in VHC

[May 1, 2011 9:22:46 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and TZOO etc

[May 1, 2011 9:22:56 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I trade a bit diff than the way Mud does

[May 1, 2011 9:23:00 PM EDT]     Laura everyone has their own comfort zone

[May 1, 2011 9:23:02 PM EDT]     Laura I

[May 1, 2011 9:23:21 PM EDT]     Laura I’ve had peeps ask me why we don’t trade larger

[May 1, 2011 9:23:43 PM EDT]     Laura but is what it is, it’s the way we feel comfortable

[May 1, 2011 9:23:57 PM EDT]     splendores         thanks. great explanations

[May 1, 2011 9:24:09 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and what Laura means by that is – she/Mud = independently weathly

[May 1, 2011 9:24:12 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive don’t need the $$ anymore

[May 1, 2011 9:24:13 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive but

[May 1, 2011 9:24:16 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive are HARD CORE ADDICTS

[May 1, 2011 9:24:20 PM EDT]     Laura lol

[May 1, 2011 9:24:33 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive like a drug

[May 1, 2011 9:24:35 PM EDT]     Laura we don’t need to trade is right, just for fun mostly now

[May 1, 2011 9:24:38 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive they just have to be in a trade

[May 1, 2011 9:24:40 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive 😛

[May 1, 2011 9:24:52 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I take my ‘risk’ differently in that I determine it based off the chart technically and figure out trading off support/breakdown – my share size and what the risk is given the range, I don’t focus on $ at hand

[May 1, 2011 9:25:17 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    I would love to have that problem… just need to be in a trade

[May 1, 2011 9:25:39 PM EDT]     Jerome maybe you will

[May 1, 2011 9:25:54 PM EDT]     Laura forced trades are the worst tho

[May 1, 2011 9:26:00 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    considering i cant even read a chart very well yet ….

[May 1, 2011 9:26:04 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive key is to focus on good trades

[May 1, 2011 9:26:06 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive sometimes less is more

[May 1, 2011 9:26:09 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    but Jerome I hope so

[May 1, 2011 9:26:17 PM EDT]     Laura there are some days we barely make a trade

[May 1, 2011 9:26:28 PM EDT]     Laura let the good ones come to you

[May 1, 2011 9:26:36 PM EDT]     Laura let them set up

[May 1, 2011 9:26:53 PM EDT]     Thatcher              how long did it take you to get where you are, Laura?

[May 1, 2011 9:26:56 PM EDT]     Laura some days we may make 15 trades

[May 1, 2011 9:27:22 PM EDT]     Laura Thatcher, I mostly follow Mudd’s knowledge.

[May 1, 2011 9:27:27 PM EDT]     Jerome Laura, do you two trade the same stocks when the trade show up?

[May 1, 2011 9:27:42 PM EDT]     Laura but in the past 2 years I have got my own setups

[May 1, 2011 9:27:53 PM EDT]     Laura Jerome, no

[May 1, 2011 9:27:53 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Muddy pets the cat while she puts the trade in

[May 1, 2011 9:28:02 PM EDT]     Thatcher              lol

[May 1, 2011 9:28:05 PM EDT]     splendores         lol, it all makes sense now

[May 1, 2011 9:28:08 PM EDT]     chillax    pink font setups good sometimes

[May 1, 2011 9:28:09 PM EDT]     Laura Mudd trades the lower priced naz usually

[May 1, 2011 9:28:27 PM EDT]     Laura I like the higher priced ones myself

[May 1, 2011 9:28:40 PM EDT]     Laura I like the Derffie plays etc

[May 1, 2011 9:28:48 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive and u like Fraud calls

[May 1, 2011 9:28:53 PM EDT]     Laura you bet

[May 1, 2011 9:29:03 PM EDT]     Laura I love shorting the fraud calls

[May 1, 2011 9:29:27 PM EDT]     splendores         what’s derffie?

[May 1, 2011 9:29:32 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Derf in chat

[May 1, 2011 9:29:33 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Derffie

[May 1, 2011 9:29:44 PM EDT]     Laura yes, Muddy Waters, Citron etc

[May 1, 2011 9:29:47 PM EDT]     Laura love thems

[May 1, 2011 9:29:56 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive The last question I got was this:

[May 1, 2011 9:30:03 PM EDT]     karen99                talking about comfort zones. Last week, i decided to trad TZOO, but after a bit, I found I was so uncomfortable with the amount, I had to sell. Profit $100 within 45 minutes. But definitely out of my comfort zone.

[May 1, 2011 9:30:05 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive QUESTION: 6 stocks from nightly scan and 6 stocks from pre market scan are just about all I can observe comfortably right now. Should I just focus on those and wait for a trade to set up or rather just listen in the chat and look at trade set ups suggested by the successful players in the room (stocks that weren’t necessarily on any scans)?

[May 1, 2011 9:30:13 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Find out what you have the most success with and then focus on those – see what you focus on the night before in scans and what matches with Pre List. See if there is any action on the charts you liked the prior night – you can always flip through charts. Leave a few charts open so you can watch trades and learn – ie: if I play a liquid Nasdaq and call it out perhaps you can take something home on that vs. just watching what you liked. Maybe something clicks and you get an ‘uh huh’ moment intraday.

[May 1, 2011 9:31:14 PM EDT]     splendores         got it

[May 1, 2011 9:32:14 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive one last thing before I open it up – THANK YOU to the couple peeps (splend/Iron) for reviews – http://investimonials.com/ really appreciate any you guys leave for @InvestorsLive and Investors Underground means a lot – that’s the only “outward” way peeps find the site besides twitter

[May 1, 2011 9:35:03 PM EDT]     jonthegreek1    I was talking with a couple of the other new memeber and we all thought it would be great if when you alert a stock like XYZ 1.10 if you could put the original alert price in brackets or something so we know what we are looking at. XYZ 1.10 (0.90) I don’t know if it possible but i might help us learn as well.

[May 1, 2011 9:36:04 PM EDT]     Thatcher              I see lots of references to options purchases in the chat during the day. Has there ever been a seminar about how you all play options?

[May 1, 2011 9:36:12 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive U can also go to Action – Recent Room history jon and ‘view more messages’

[May 1, 2011 9:37:37 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive Action — > recent room history — > display more messages

[May 1, 2011 9:39:44 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive if you see it went from .20 to .40 over the last hour and it hits .41 nHOD and I state it

[May 1, 2011 9:40:02 PM EDT]     InvestorsLive I would assume you’re smart enough not to chase that
