Scan for 01/25/24 From Nate

Volatility is picking up

TSLA should be wild tomorrow but make that list like I used to have like PLTR AFRM IONQ U UPST and all those names you’ll want it.

DWAC PHUN game plan worked well re: 4AM gap and unwind honestly was hoping for a lot better than that but it sorta just came and went. Really clean fade all day.

But, I had two main plays last night on scan and the same two this morning on broadcast SAVE and RUM.

SAVE I wanted $8.50 shove, we got an $8.52 shove – the rest was history.

RUM right there with it.

SPRC types zzz few k shares nothing that I get aggressive with these days – focus is always on A+ RUM SAVE DWAC PHUN opps.

Then, GETR with the big finish. Great levels.

Main Watches:

SAVE reactive trade – more discussion pre

RUM same, reactive trade then 945-10AM+ trend join

Failed Follow Through:

GETR pops vs .35 ideally

EVAX great entry timing today – higher better and fail

PLUG possible .20-.30 fade

Continuation:

BFRG possibly hanging for buy ins

VSME watching weak open for ramp

FAZE dips for break out – if it gaps, possible gap and fade.

Staying Familiar:

  1. I’m really confused… is “today” meaning TODAY the 24th when it posts… or today meaning the day the scan is for… tomorrow the 25?

    • I’m not sure what you’re asking. It’s for the day that it says specifically.

It’s titled Scan for 01/25/24 From Nate so that means it’s for the date it says it’s for 01/25/24.

The market is closed now (today the 24th) so the 24th came out yesterday.

      • He said “EVAX great entry timing today – higher better and fail”

Does that mean today the 25tb is great entry timing? Or the day it was posted (24th) was the good timing and maybe I already missed the best entry.

Then “But, I had two main plays last night on scan and the same two this morning on broadcast SAVE and RUM.”

That sounds like “this” means the 24 when it was written but since this is for the 25th maybe he was writing assuming it would be read on the 25th and they will be the topic on the broadcast.

Sorry if that sounds picky, I’m new and trying not to mix up “yesterdays” news with the news for the date in the title.

        • Right “EVAX great entry timing today”

means “EVAX great entry timing today” – if you were in the room you know I was looking for parabolic short and I said I felt like the timing was super close, I posted my chart you can see I traded the failed follow through after parabolic move.

Just referring to the trade made today.

Goal for the 25th = higher the better and fail.

I think you’re just over thinking everything – the obvious answer is the right one.

If you read scan last night you know my goal was to fade RUM and SAVE.

I had two main plays on LAST NIGHTS SCAN that means LAST NIGHTS SCAN

And I had two main on BROADCAST (broadcast happens each trading day FOR THAT TRADING DAY).

It may benefit you to read the trading logs? Perhaps watch the broadcast?

But, I think the easy fix here is take everything for face value. I don’t post anything for you to have to think “what could it mean” it means what it it means. A Scan for X date is a scan for X date. If I am referring to a “great job today” that means “great job that day” you got the scan at 8PM on the 24th.

  2. Nate – I do not know how we can money on sub .5 stocks. Unless it goes at least 05 cents in your favor , we are just paying commission to broker.

    • Maybe time to change your broker? I’ve already given you guys ample reminders about CenterPoint 1. Their deal through March 100% free commissions 2. Already have gone over the free routes I pushed them to add so even when you are paying commission you don’t have to pay much.

If you are at a broker that you’re paying ECN fees for these sure, that can get expensive but just remember that’s your choice to stay there so don’t make it a “they have to move .05 for me to make money” excuse — make it a “I want to trade these but I don’t want to leave my broker so I am just going to avoid them” instead. Be realistic with the reasoning.
