Happy Monday all! Hope everyone is doing well out there right now. I know a lot of people including myself are all pretty anxious to just get back to normal life but that won’t be happening for a while I think. We have become pretty bad with the overall patience aspect of life due to cell phones but that’s just my opinion. Either way, markets still super wild and abound with opportunities.
It really is key that if an idea isn’t working then just cut it and look for the next one that is. It is really crazy just how many trades are out there on a daily basis right now. Play smart and obey your risk rules. On to the scan:
PYX – Nice move on this one today and daily is setup pretty well. Kept some overnight but sold most for day trade here. The $4 breakout and hold is a big level to be aware of.
TLRY – More interested here and held a nice trend into the close. There are still some calls out there from Friday in the $9 area. If PYX catches it can fuel this easy.
DKNG – Nice trades here today and the calls instantly popped out the gate from Friday as well. Only care to join long again on today’s high breakout.
WTRH – Daily has held extremely well for this name. Shorts might be getting stuck on this one as indicated by today’s action to me. Likely some mental resistance at $2 but would love for this to touch and relax for a few days for the bigger picture long back into $3 and then short.
MARK – The 2 month twitter pumpers finally got this one moving. The .60 breakout was too convincing to not play. Ideally $1 gap open and $1.80-$2 short.
MVIS – Big move today on a gap up as well. Will be a big short play for me tomorrow on anything over $2.50s
CHWY – Morning washout near $35 for the swing long. Looking at some far out calls on this as well into January.
NCLH – Closed with great pattern. $15 breakout for long.
FRSX – Held into the close at a decent level. If that .90s breaks will look to join long tomorrow.
BYZN – Bounce play in the .09s
PLYZ – May go straight to no bid, but still a daily watch for me, might snag a few more tomorrow as a total spec play for promo but avg is about 4x higher than current price. Either way, I plan on this going to $0 or being a 10 bagger.
Hey Cody, new member here. Just joined about an hour ago. Could you please explain where you get the $2.50 number to start looking to short? I see no prior resistance at $2.50 within the last year. Going back 3 years I do see a $2.50 and then $3.25. Is 2.50 simply the next resistance looking at a 3 year chart? Thank you.
-Serge
I think he probably meant $1.50.
