I didn’t realize it was going to be this great until late day when everything just sorta seemed to work. There are a few things to take away from this chat log: 1. When you’re right, add to a winner – so many of us add to losers because we always feel the only way to get back to our ‘average’ it to better it and thus add to a losing position. In reality, we’re just potentially compounding a loss on a trade that we’re already wrong on — think about it !! Add to winners not to losers !! 2. If you’re wrong, BE WRONG !! (see instagram below) So many looked at this image today and said “hmmm makes sense, I think?” but fail to really understand it. Your success in trading isn’t dictated by the winners, it’s dictated by the losers !! It’s important to cut them and with that comes being wrong. If you never let yourself be wrong, the market will take you out of the game.
