Chat Room Rules

No Off-Topic Chatter During Market Hours

During market hours, all chat messages should come in the form of actionable trading alerts. Ask yourself if your message will help anyone make a trading decision before posting.

Avoid asking questions and making comments in the main chat room (feel free to do so via a private message).

Come Prepared

There are a few things we expect all members to know before posting in chat. Make sure you’ve reviewed the new members page, chat room acronyms, and DVDs if you have them.

Moderators are more than happy to answer questions IF you have already reviewed the available resources.

Understand the Criteria for Momentum Stocks

We trade liquid stocks with higher than average daily volume. Avoid posting alerts for thinly traded stocks with low volume.

Utilize Private Messages

If you have a question for a moderator or want to make a comment about an alert from another member, do so in private chat.

Don’t Post an Exit if You Didn’t Post an Entry

Be transparent. If you are going to share a trade, share both your entry and exit.

Tickers Should be Typed in Capital Letters (AAPL vs. aapl)
