JUNO: I ditched the long just under 46 today simply because of the intraday buyout chatter – that always sketches me out some, and we got a big ramp on it, so I was just happy to cut the trade for now about +3 overall. And in typical intraday buyout fashion, it was a long trap and sold off the rest of the session. Not surprising at all. Will be watching all weak opens for re-scoops and for this to set up again in the coming days.
BLDP: This one did exactly what we thought it would do, which was run into the conference today and then dump in response to it in a typical “sell the news” fashion, great play, I know lots who absolutely nailed this today & banked – you know who you are – congrats. Will be looking for more, it’s still up a ton. I’m expecting maybe a small gap up and a morning push attempt and then more selling & sub 4.
HTZ: One of the biggest trades of the year for me today, I started in short premarket & sized in on the open rip & pops on way down and had final covers as low as 20.96, just an awesome short on an overextended chart. Will be watching in coming days for similar action – an open push try that gets stuffed & follow thru selling. Nice one today.
ALDX: Hard to describe this one today. Witchcraft, sorcery, black magic, I don’t know. But just insane, disgusting, filthy incessant bid prop all day today & wild runner. I 100% knew this was not a short today just by the way it was trading, was saying it to my guys all day, but just couldn’t bring myself to get long, it’s my fatal flaw. However, I did get a small long off at eod from 9.80 to 10.30, was happy with that lol. This one has proved staying power if it wants, so nothing I’m looking to fight with & add higher, but will be eyeing for it to give back some of those ridiculous gains from today in the coming sessions.
FENG: Lot of people trying to short this today, I just don’t see it, that daily setup spells trouble to me, seems to be breaking out higher out of a base, I’d be long biased on dips anywhere above that breakout spot 4.70s, nothing I’m interested in trying a short on above there unless it gets really crazy to the upside in the coming sessions. Decent volume and good range though, so I’ll be watching it.
