Free Scan: Stocks To Watch For June 26, 2023

by | Jun 25, 2023

Wanted to touch upon some of my summer goals and mindset.

Less trades, better trades, macro view on scan/prep, and the daily flavor of the day in small-cap land (sometimes 2 flavors).

Sometimes that idea for summer may bite you in the ass because weeks like last week happen and I’ve summer sized and feel like I should be up a FORTUNE but look and I’m not because oh, yeah, I didn’t get aggressive.

Weeks like last week can really change the trajectory of a year. The basket I gave everyone last few weeks on scan: AI CVNA PLTR AFRM SOFI NIO XPEV etc (w/ maybe the exception of relative strength CCL only faded small) came in EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Didn’t move the needle for me or anything since I’ve just been trading much smaller but notable for sure.

Had a great week last week with Sam!

Had some fun dinners, nice beach action, and a great day on the lake!

Stocks to Watch

APLD higher it gaps the better and then looking for failed follow through BUT remember that idea is likely crowded. So, wait 5-10 minutes before you hammer in with your idea because it’s likely everyone else does the same original thought, gets chopped, moves on and then it unwinds. Stay out of the chop!

CCL earnings pre market Monday so should offer a biggggg trade Monday. Either big gap up and unwind or gap down and unwind would be ideal. If it doesn’t neither the trade likely comes by Wednesday. Don’t take it off radar this chart has been walked up quite a bit.

Failed Follow Through:

VCIG Nice one Friday off broadcast. Higher better for back side.

PLTR reactive trade.

AFRM still thinking we will have a major flush day followed by reversal

VKTX higher better for unwind

Continuation:

BTBT nice idea last week – reminds me early stages MARA RIOT

BITF same as BTBT

MEDS watch all dips for continuation

CLEU steady walk up since that huge cross if you guys remember that huge multi million share offer they had out under .60s that day that they were chipping away at. None stop bid. Likely like UTME where they walk it up get some sorta PR campaign going and once they’re ready dump it down 80%

MGOL trying to let it work. Nice runner so far came in some Friday we’ll see. Been good from big picture idea so far.

Mean Reversion Trade:

CVNA gap down flush out and unwind for reversal would be ideal – just a short squeeze and now unravels.

AI as CVNA – remember these were all just squeezes nothing more nothing less.

Staying Familiar:
