GENE: Caught quite a few shorts sleeping today. Volume was relatively low today compared to the big move day on Tues, so could see this squeezing out more yet. 4.20 area of interest in the morning, if we get that on a weak open and it holds, likely a decent long trade to follow. Otherwise looking for more gap up into 6+ early and would have a close eye on that looking to fade it.
SAVA: The never ending squeeze game is likely to end soon, I’m thinking Wednesday was the last one. Watching this into 8.10 area tomorrow, if we fail there or weak open, I’m looking to short pops.
HIMX: Nice move over the past week on daily. Really no blowoff yet, so I’d like to see something into 4.50+ tomorrow on good volume, emphasis on good, and then would be looking for failed follow through shortly after that. When names just grind like this has the past two days, can’t stress enough how much the buyer exhaustion volume is to give an edge to the idea.
