AWX: This thing was a pain today. From the look of the chart though, it doesn’t look like it had much of an opportunity to set any big short trap. It was ETB which brings on a whole slew of amateurs typically, and that’s kind of what the action said today too. Those rips just looked like squeezes of guys with low pain tolerance, especially the last ones, notice how the rip candles sold off instantly. So gut feeling is it’s not that crowded and people mostly ate their medicine today. If it gaps up or runs out of the gate, I’ll be looking to fade that.
CVSI: What a chart. I figured maybe there would be a bit more of a reaction to breaking the previous daily highs today, but not much doing. It was just grinding all day today, so that’s nothing you want to short into if you don’t have to. Would like to see some sort of capitulation or fireworks through 3, and attack pops on failed follow thru from there.
RIOT: The blockchain/cryto titan ladies and gentleman! RIOT and MARA. You know the drill here…it’s beyond stupid and they have absolutely zero going for them, just view this as a shell company and trading vehicle for all intents and purposes. It will likely keep a bid as long as the crypto world continues to trend higher like it is currently, so in a perfect world I’d love this close to 10 for the swing short.
TRXC: Gave a nice reload opp today if you missed it yest off that 5.50 level. Continuing to watch that area as the top, I like the short into that level with a 6 o/u risk – this is probably more of a swing idea than intraday.
