I have a question about TK price action.I was late to the market today. So I missed your commentary. I noticed it double topped around that 9.75 area I didn’t short because I noticed it had higher lows and thought what if it put another higher low and makes sort of an abcd formation. I saw it go down to the 9.46 level I wanted to short on that pop around 9.50 area but the risk reward was even from the lows and the double top so i didn’t.In hindsight it would have worked out.MY question is when it double topped at that 9.77 area does that mean the trend is going downward? and
where would you have shorted in my scenario Thanks.
Can cover it but as far as far as missing commentary you can just review chat logs .. you are aware of that right?

Hey Nate, I’m in a bit of a trading slump right now, where it seems like the setups that were working for me before no longer are, and my confidence and conviction to enter trades has taken a hit. I review my trades everyday to identify what I did well, what I didn’t do so well and what I can do better. Any other advice on how to break through a slump and get your confidence back?
I have been having issues lately regarding the new routing options at Suretrader (or lack thereof). Basically, on thin stocks like GIGA, RWLK, PDSV…etc they are routing my order through SMAT or some other obscure route, instead of ARCA or EDGE and that leads to me not getting filled despite stock going though my order…For example I’d have a cover out at say 12.70 ahead of time (way ahead) and the stock goes through the .70 bid, prints .67 and I am still NOT filled. Same thing with shorting a pop. This hasn’t happened once or twice, but it happens ALOT…on some ocassions, not only has the bid been taken out, but there is an offer for my price…and I am still not filled…its not like it filled but didn’t update yet, it just doesn’t fill no matter how long I wait for it to update…Any suggestions for a remedy? does Suretrader owe me anything? Would complaining help? I mean its not like I am trading OTCs here
Hi Nate. I’m wondering why you don’t trade the futures, for instance the ES (e-mini S&P’s)
You seem to have a really good feel for general market movement, as well as stocks obviously. Why do you trade the ETF’s instead? It seems like the ES has so many benefits that stocks/ETF’s don’t offer, like leverage for small accounts, tax advantages, no Pattern Day Trade rules, no wash sales, super liquid. Seems like a good thing to add to your arsenal??
Nate, can you discuss what you use for scanning intraday? Are you only using a HI/Lo scanner (I know you mentioned that you use these) or something else these days?
Can you give any tips on what helped you when you were first getting started with Tilt and boredom trades? I’m having a really hard time with both. I made a rule today to stop trading b/t 1130 and 230pm and am trying to be more conscious of when these types of trade start taking over my trading. It’s killing me!
I watched your vid lesson on SUNE and how the 5.60 top was a good short spot twice in the afternoon. I was thinking that too but what made me hesitate was that it was in an uptrend going back to LOD in the morning and was well above VWAP, so was thinking it may continue the uptrend going into EOD, Can you please reconcile the 2 opposing ideas and why ultimately you still liked the short?
What is the usual day and time for the webinars Nate? I’m in the Philippines so I need to adjust my time accordingly.
