  1. Nate if there was only 3 stock trading lessons you could pass on what would they be? Also what do you think is the most important factor in becoming a successful trader?

  2. Hey Nate,

Just wanted your perspective on how to trade EOD moves. I usually see all the % gainers at around 2 for a EOD run, but get shaken out with small moves. I somehow lack conviction and wanted to see if there is anything in perticular that I should keep a note of. Also how is the EOD runs different this week (thanksgiving) then during the normal year.

    Thanks!

  3. I often here traders coin the term “fully boxed in”. If you use this strategy or are familiar with it would love to hear the concept behind it and/or how to execute. I have a high level understanding of it and recognize you tie up additional trading capital; but just wanted to here some commentary on it as it seems to work well when it comes to the bigger pumps prior to dumping

  4. Hi Nate,

    can you please comment on
    – KBIO moves,
    – shells,
    – 13G STRP
    – news such as “one person holds 854k shares” and so on…
Why are these kind of news seen as bullish by the crowd?
I often have trouble determining whether some posts in chat related to news are bullish or bearish.

    Thank you.

P.S.: I will not be live in the webinar, hope you are recording 😉

  5. How do you decide when to close out of a winning position? What are some hints that a trend may be changing?

PS: Will also not be live in webinar, but will view recording! Thanks!

  6. If you’re looking at AEZS @11:29+ am today, at what point in the next move down would you consider getting short to switch from regular old getting short to chasing the move? It is kinda a general question of at what point does it become a chase… Thanks.

  7. Can you go through an example of how you “cautiously scoop dips” or buy dips in general? Everytime I try this, I feel the name is back to a downtrend or my risk on the previous low is always violated. Are you waiting for a sign of a reversal or do you literally keep buying on weakness with a previous low as a guide? And also, is a dip by your definition a “semi-wash” or a grind down dip? 1 example was SUNE eod, can you go through the process of where you were buying and the risk?

  8. Hey Nate,
One thing I still struggle with is losses and keeping them small
relative to my wins. For example with regards to shorting, I may start short 10
cents below the HOD so I risk off that and play the appropriate position size
based on 10 cent risk. I am always basing my risk off a resistance level and as
you know when resistance levels break they often spike, from there it might be
a fake out and head lower, it might be a clean intraday breakout or it might need
to retest that resistance level before continuing upward. I seem to always find
myself covering 10 cents or higher than my risk level so instead of a 10 cent
loss I am looking at a 20 cent loss (ie, double what I expected). It didn’t take
long for me to start building that extra 10 to 15 cent cushion into my risk
which means smaller positions and smaller potential reward, but I guess I am just
curious how you go about covering exactly. Do you typically get a better cover than that? Can you please speak to this?

Do you slap the offer upon the break?
Immediately put in a cover at the current bid and hope it fills?
    Wait for a retest?
Wait for weakness to cover into after you are sure its not a fake out?
Can you tell right before it spikes and put in a quick cover?

    Thanks for everything you do.

  10. Hi Nate. Can you talk about the guy who owes $100k to Etrade. How does something like that happen? Wouldn’t Etrade automatically buy him in? Would you donate to his go fund me page? Is he a member of IU chat?

  11. Can you discuss the mid day cover you had on AEZS? You posted on TWTR that you forgot a cover for mid day. Did you enter a buy to close limit order in the morning? Just trying to understand how you cover your shorts.
