Sunday Seminar For the 11th And How We’re Gonna Change

by | Mar 9, 2012

8PM EST – READ THIS BEFORE COMING TO IT

I’ve said it all week in scan ….. I’m a nice guy … I really am but some of you are driving me bananas  … I call you guys “timmites”

I realize he did something that many people weren’t fans of and lots of you came over to learn how we trade and what we do:

This room is NOT a Yahoo Message board

I will re-do the chat room rules today and this weekend and put a new link when people sign in ….

This is not a room to join and just get free hand outs, we are a team – we’re all on the same page. We don’t need a dozen comments about the SPY and AAPL and if they are going to break the 13 day high or 72 day SMA or upper bollinger bands are tight etc we are a MOMENTUM CHAT ROOM. We like MOMENTUM – That’s VOLUME. We don’t care about the small stuff that trades $5k shares.

We are a team, if you take the ‘leap’ to make a trade call by all means post the exit and profit – you deserve it. If you post a cryptic message that could go either way, or don’t post an entry don’t bother saying out for $X profit. I don’t mind the folks that do it now and again because your excited and you just banked – by all means do it .. I’m talking the daily peeps that only post exits w/ profits. Thanks for understanding.

Next up … CrazyPenny plays (PennyPic, BDPS, CrazyPenny etc) I have a seminar of my favorites we talk about this every single seminar and every single day and yet on the day of the play everyone wants to know my target, where it will dip to, where my stop is etc. Guys PUMPS ARE DANGEROUS if you find yourself asking those questions DON’T PLAY. You shouldn’t have to ask ANYONE these questions if you’re playing pumps, once you know YOURSELF that’s when you’re ready. I’ve gone over so many times about how it’s all related to the PRIOR play … if they are coming off POTG –> AMWI –> NSRS …. What do you think? Do I think it’s a buy? I got PMs yesterday saying “How was I supposed to know it was a buy?” My answer is … if you paid any attention to chat, scans or seminars for the past month you’d know this – sometimes I don’t get it!

BUT we can do it again on Sunday

GUYS any and all questions go. I know we have a lot of “newbs” and we really need to get you on the same page because it’s entirely TOO chatty in the room.

  1. Here my questions:

1.)  I was good long trend on SHLD on Wednesday and Thursday, but didn’t take since I have heard stock is unpredictable. I could have followed a good $3-4 on Wed or $2 Thurs. Was it big mistake for me not take SHLD on long on these day? Was I being over cautious?

2.) I have these going with small size feels but I usually fail to add at right time. Most of these I went into seeing a good trend and most of feeler gave me gains, but bit too little due the size. Most of time I was afraid my re-add price would be too high to see any gains. Any suggestions how use small size feelers, especially when to add?

As regards SNPK can tell us the approxomite percentagees and approxomite times of your total position that you put on and took off on Thursday and Friday? Great education, Thanks.

  5. Would dip buying on smaller time frame for scalps worth a consideration. This was the chart on SNPK on Friday http://goo.gl/g2g0t . It dipped to $0.54 many times. Would it be recommended to buy such dips with small shares 5000 or so, and sell into spikes? I say 5000 shares, due to my small account with SureTrader. I figure even if I get $0.01, that’s a fast return on 5000 shares, and I replicate this move many times, should accumulate nice.

Obviously this is after fact, and no one would know that $0.54 was the sweet spot on Friday and whatever it’ll be on Monday and so on, but perhaps as the dips start happening, start leaning into a position 1/4th, and fill in until in 5000 shares and wait for the rebound and sell into the spike and accumulate small returns over and over.

  6. What are ways to grow my SureTrader small account using SNPK and trades as such. If someone like myself, missed the opening of SNPK, and have not owned a core to this day, is it late to trade it, and get part of the cake? [Was studying for midterm, when the announcement came out]

I know you are completely out as of yesterday morning; owning only 50K at core and trading around it for the big move toward whatever price it’s set to become. However given your nice cushion from your original large size, it allows you to be wrong on a few trades, and still be profitable overall on SNPK.

For someone like me who doesn’t have the said cushion from earlier trades on this stock, what R/R opportunities should I look for, that gives me fair amount of reward for little risk to get some cash, and grow my account.

  9. How do you identify eod longs for gap ups the following day…Is it based off total volume for the day? Weak close with strong price action all day? I saw this was the case with a few stocks in the last few weeks. Also, when the stock actually gaps up the next morning, do you usually sell right at market open? I know it is probably different based on prints in the a.m. but is there a general rule you follow?  Thanks.

  11. When buying on a nHOD play, or a pre that gaps, can you go over details of how and when you place your buy order?  Market, limit? Signs to look for to sell?
