  1. I hear you talk about some of the different market makers. I’m only vaguely familiar with what a MM even is. Could you give a brief 101 on who/what they are and how you use them in your trading?

  2. I’m curious if halts are something the average trader should be worried about.  I understand that swinging stuff like JAMN or LEXG is playing with fire, but what about SNOFF?  I saw TRE.TO get halted intraday, is that something that can occur for OTCBB/Pinks?  Or do halts generally happen before the market opens?

  3. There are so many stocks to watch at opening bell, how do
you know which stock(s) to watch and are you only looking for G/R or R/G? Point
of the question is to increase reward and reduce risk.

When charting a stock for support/resistance, how significant
is intraday support/resistance vs. 3 month, 6 month, etc. support/resistance?
In other words, if stock ABC is hitting intraday resistance at $1, but the 3
& 6 month charts show resistance is at $3.5… how do I play this chart
intraday? If volume is there, at the $1 resistance level, this is usually a
good sign that it will breakout of $1 resistance?

    Scans (Question for Muddy)

From the “I’m gonna try” post on June 1, 2008 (from GOTS
blog)… are the Top 40 Dayrangers, 8%, 15%, and TRO scans, still being used to
find good picks? If so, what ADR (30) % is applicable (9, 10, 12?) and why?

Basically what I want to know if what scans to run, and if
the variables from back in 2008 have changed? (ie: variables being minimum volume,
ADR (30) – what % are we looking at and why?, 10/60 SMA cross w/ volume, etc.)

This is revolves around knowing former runners, right? Forgot to add this part to my question…

  5. two questions.

    1.   friday in chat, i was corrected after saying a stock was r/g.   at what point do you consider a stock to be r/g?   i thought it was after a bounce, and not necessarily the low of the day.

    2.  a few times you’ve said you’re gonna hold a stock because it will gap in the am.   not saying that this will happen each time you say, but what indicators do you look for before making that decision?  and when?  is it in the last hour, the last 30 minutes, or the last 10 minutes of the day?

    1. When you say stocks are “related”, what does
    this mean?

    2.
    2. What is a sympathy play?

    3.
    3. “Big pull” = Big pull-back off HOD’s? So a
person can either “short it” (if timed right/shares available) OR wait “long”
    the dip?

    4.
    3. Risk/Reward… It’s a big part of creating a plan,
but what does it mean? How do you factor it in to your trading? HOW DO YOU ESTABLISH IT? Etc.

    5.
    4. What does “gaming for entries” mean?

    6.
    5. How do you know when a “Sector” gets hot? Where do you read/find this information? What
    are the indicators?
    6. When you say someone “position trades” (like Muddy), what
    does that mean?
