  1. Will you go over a brief intro to how to trade options?

    • Your guess is as good as mine … I was just trying things out .. I by no means am a professional nor would want to ‘teach’ on something I’ve only tried for a week … I bought weekly calls where I thought the stock was going when they washed out or panicked … other than that I can’t really comment – I only JUST got my feet wet.

  2. You refer to ‘hidden buyers’ sometimes on a stock. I’m unclear as to what purpose they serve. Are they hidden because they are large institutional buyers? How do hidden buyers affect us? Is your strategy any different when encountering a hidden buyer?

  3. Does Speed Trader allow an individual to open an S-Corporation account as a non-professional account? Also, does ST allow shorting penny stocks like IB? Is it a flat rate commission or on a per share basis?

    Reply
    • Yes you can open an S Corp

You can short penny stocks if a borrow but it’s Penson based – not as great of borrows as you see with IB … and you can pick either flat rate or per share I recco the flat rate since it’s so cheap with Speed

  4. [Sep 18, 2011 8:02:20 PM EDT]    InvestorsLive it’s mostly purely TA and set ups

    What does TA stand for?

    • Why is my question being flagged? That statement was written by InvestorsLive during a previous seminar. I do not know what the acronym TA stands for. Is that not a valid question?

        • Sorry IL, the word flag appears on the bottom left corner when I hover over the upper left corner of the comment box.  I checked right now, everyone who has a comment on the page shows a “flag” at the lower left corner. Should have checked first before posting.

  5. I have a question about using correlation stock versus index(s&p,nasdaq) while day traiding. Do you look at it at all and if you do, in what means or better to say when do you start to look at it, is it to find the direction of the market in general or to find the best time to enter a trade that if the stock is moving slightly behind the index. How is it with finding 2stocks in correlation(do you look at this correlation thasame as index-stock correlation), do you find it simply with scanning a lot of stocks or is thare any other way?

  6. I’ve got just one more question about handling over night trades. For example I entered CLWR on 13.10 I have bought it at 1.50$.
I entered it anticipating break out, and because I liked big picture(daily), so before the trade i knewed that if i will be right i will take of something at 1:3,1:4 r/r other part of position I leave open for possible bigger gains(because of daily picture).
Now what I am wondering is how should I operate with this position. If i look on 1min tf. I see 1000 points on which I should close the trade, so if you are holding position overnight how do you handle it. Do you think that using trend line on 60 min. is good ide, and go out when we close bellow it?

And the seminar starts at 8pm which local time?
