PDD monster trade from scan last night – if I was there full steam that would have been my go to along with SRNE and MRNA

Got a good piece of the MRNA fade from the trade idea posted, some AMD PENN etc — decent day despite trading light. Everything worked.

AMD was straight up my go to trade of choice to short the market – great heads up by Stapes.

Added some GSX short into the squeeze but covered that into the close – not looking to build a short unless it starts unwinding. Will continue to trade with that thesis in mind.

Main Watches:

MRNA big snap AHs I’d like to stay shorting big moves for the unwind. Great fades today – covered a bit too early if you look at AHs but hey, that’s okay. Great call by stapes re: market when MRNA started to get hit.

NNDM algo is back – huge volume. Up big AHs – expected the unexpected. I believe this is dual listed so anything can happen over night.

PENN higher better but looking for the post squeeze unwind soon. Faded it a bit today into the close w/ the failed follow through set up.

Failed Follow Through:

ACB nice short idea from scan last night – traded the thesis I wrote based off RAD. Didn’t need the top. Perhaps I was too safe but again, I’m not full strength until Thursday.

FSCT higher better again and unwind.

NVAX watch with MRNA INO etc.

JD good trades today – higher better for back side unwind.

SRNE home run trade today – I had a lot of PMs of traders who felt they were chasing and missed because of that. The simple solution on a trade like this when you know it’s gonna unwind but don’t want to chase candles — is to use chase size. Example: I want to short 10k shares to use an easy number — I may CHASE 500 starter, 500 add if right … then have 1k just to be there fails again double to 2k … fails a key level go to 5k etc… all starts with 500 shares vs. the 10k goal. If you have emotion chasing 5k down yes, you should could snap back .50 that may be too much for you. So think in terms of scaling. Anyway. Higher better cautious being aggressive given the move down but higher better for fades.

GSX looking to short all ramps sub VWAP — prefer not to be fighting trend.

KSS fader today – looking to trade with BBBY etc again. Will start to watch retail as opportunity.

Continuation:

MITO trading swing around core – really nice opportunities. $1.8x’s was the idea said not to chase high $1.9x’s just wait for dips got another chance in the $1.8x’s. $2.4x’s + hit today locked some around core.

ACY light vol – hit scanner today accumulation. Nothing I’m excited about unless gets out of hand.
