[Apr 3, 2011 8:01:15 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Got a handful of questions – thanks those who took the time to ask as requested on: http://www.investorsunderground.com/2011/04/01/seminar-sunday-night-april-3rd/

[Apr 3, 2011 8:01:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive We’ll do same format as usual, again since not many questions and chart stuff didn’t have a powerpoint but I’ll go over about 5 visuals and answer the questions

[Apr 3, 2011 8:01:41 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  Greetings, boss.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:01:47 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive keep on topic for each question

[Apr 3, 2011 8:01:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and then we’ll open it up

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Couple notes first

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I still feel like people have no idea that we have a dashboard

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:20 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive http://www.investorsunderground.com/dashboard/

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it’s news to a lot of people even though it’s the most important page

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive as if they’ve never seen it before

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:45 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so I mean.. be sure to book mark that page

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:53 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive that’s where all the scans, chat logs and most importantly for new members

[Apr 3, 2011 8:02:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the “New Member” page

[Apr 3, 2011 8:03:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive second note, I wanted to make is if you want to be successful, you’ve gotta come to the market prepared – I get calls, emails and what not who just want SMS/newsletter buy and sell type stuff and us to tell you when to push the buttons

[Apr 3, 2011 8:03:54 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive we help ya, we paint the picture as to where/when and how we’d do it but

[Apr 3, 2011 8:04:00 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I don’t want members who want that

[Apr 3, 2011 8:04:13 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I want members who want to learn, learn to fish themselves

[Apr 3, 2011 8:04:24 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and I’m pretty frank on emails or if peeps call in

[Apr 3, 2011 8:04:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so it’s not to offend people but .. look .. I/Laura/Mud and others are here to teach ya HOW to do it and HOW to follow

[Apr 3, 2011 8:05:10 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so that was the quick comments I wanted to cover – other than that, same set up as always – I’ll hit the first few questions and do some visuals of charts from last week

[Apr 3, 2011 8:05:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive then we’ll open up as I said

[Apr 3, 2011 8:05:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive QUESTION: Question about account building. I’m under PDT by the way. I’ve had some pretty good success these past these past couple of weeks, but it concerns me a little when I hear that I should be really “account building” at this time. The way I looked at this last week, there was really no reason for me to exit my JAMN position earlier than Thursday (I sold it late day Thu., this is just an example), as it was really up all week. I know you’ve been saying to buy the dips late, and sell the spike in the AM, but that will still chew up my buying power for the whole day that I sell on. So the question is, should I keep my JAMN position, or really any position that isn’t losing money, but not gaining more than 5% per day. Or should I be looking for the HR that we’ve been nailing in chat just about every day.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:05:54 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive HR = home run for those that didn’t catch on

[Apr 3, 2011 8:06:18 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so it’s a good question and here’s my feedback on JAMN alone – and sorta how to cure what your feeling

[Apr 3, 2011 8:06:23 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Question about account building.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:06:26 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive woops

[Apr 3, 2011 8:06:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive JAMN is a fine swing play in my opinion, my immediate thought (and don’t trade based off this… ) but I believe/have seen them going out to list by list on it… this is the new website for doublingstocks (which used to be a powerhouse promoter – see BGBR when it IPO’d) it’s following a very similar trend, my thought is they blow it up at the end and let it breakout when they hit all their old list (ie: doublingstocks.com itself as well as all their others) …… that’s why I was bullish off dips for the past few weeks as I’ve said on scan.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:06:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive As far as ‘no reason to exit JAMN trade’ sure, if you’re under the PDT sure it may not make sense to however – what if mid day during lull it takes a dip and guess what – it’s over? That’s the mindset I’m trying to push with this thought process on the OTC seminar (in suggested reading prior to this seminar) on how to play OTCs overall. If you were to sell the gap on JAMN each AM, and rebuy into close you would not be wasting any daytrades (because of the overnight). The only reason I had liked it for over nights is there has been emails hitting and thus gaps higher than the prior close.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:07:55 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive The question you need to ask yourself is, do I have enough money besides my $$ tied up in JAMN to trade efficiently during the day? OR am I missing trades because my $$ is in JAMN (which has a good chance of making me $$ but …. again it’s making me miss other trades I see setting up).

[Apr 3, 2011 8:08:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so to paraphrase – you don’t have to trade JAMN and the stocks like it how I said – that’s just how I do it … most of the money on these stocks is not made between 11am and 2pm

[Apr 3, 2011 8:08:59 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it’s sideways price action and the risk of a pull back on these as you know … is well… it’s possible but fact is .. if it’s over … you know how fast they fall

[Apr 3, 2011 8:09:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so if I’m trading other things I’d rather just take the AM profits, if its on scan all day then i know at 2-3pm I need to be watching for a dip and/or action (like a perk/gear) into close

[Apr 3, 2011 8:10:04 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive make sense? – I think it was -war- that asked ? anything further regarding this? or anyone else?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:10:21 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive for those who are not sure what I’m talking about I’m talking about JAMN in the prior seminar with powerpoint

[Apr 3, 2011 8:10:23 PM EDT]      -war-     yes, 10-4

[Apr 3, 2011 8:10:28 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive this example as to how I would trade it

[Apr 3, 2011 8:10:33 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive which is in the suggested reading on the members page

[Apr 3, 2011 8:10:52 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive alright – any others on that subject?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:11:09 PM EDT]      cbrought21         What is PDT?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:11:15 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive pattern day trade rule

[Apr 3, 2011 8:11:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the other point -war- and others is … it’s to get you into the trader mindset rather than the ‘investor’ ‘hopeful’ ‘koolaid drunk’ ‘sheep’ mind set that 90% of traders are

[Apr 3, 2011 8:12:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so if you’re constantly taking some gains, while sure… like you mentioned holding a CORE with a lower average

[Apr 3, 2011 8:12:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive then that’s a great way to do it

[Apr 3, 2011 8:12:52 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but as you can see intraday these stocks have the random pull backs during lull, that at some point … it won’t recover from – which is what I’m trying to help you stay away from

[Apr 3, 2011 8:13:10 PM EDT]      -war-     makes sense to me

[Apr 3, 2011 8:13:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive QUESTION: Using LOCM from late Friday as an example, when someone alerts a stock that just popped, is it a better strategy to go long and sell into the following pop? Or is it better to try and short it? It seems like most of the pops don’t sustain. Would this be an incorrect assumption?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:13:28 PM EDT]      Jaymo   mmmm teal

[Apr 3, 2011 8:13:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive L suggested Q and A diff color 🙂 ha

[Apr 3, 2011 8:13:47 PM EDT]      Jaymo   hehe

[Apr 3, 2011 8:13:49 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive It depends, did you catch it on the immediate alert? Anyone in chat for more than a few months should know LOCM. As you know (pointed out on the member page) it’s all about former runners. So everyone knows this ticker, when it has a $4 cross (even dollar market) + volume … and in this case … trader530 who has GREAT news feed alerts posted what the buzz was going around – all those things combined is going to cause a nice pop

[Apr 3, 2011 8:14:19 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive …. so … did you catch the first move? If so, flip it .. take your profits it’s momentum – many of the alerts are great but if you chase a big pop, or snag it and the moves slowed and starts to reverse, you’ve got to get out – play is done.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:14:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive You could short it sure, but it all comes back to the chart, how it set up did it have a parabolic pop to short into? The point is, there’s no right answer if you should buy or short – it all depends what happens. You have to trade what it gives you – normally LOCM doesn’t hold it’s big pops so yes it’s probably a good short into a large pop, but if it pulls and holds higher support – I would not be opposed to going long.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:15:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive So this is more of a question that’s asking for an objective yes or no… but really .. it all depends. Heck LOCM is a beat chart and a former runners it’s possible there’s a big short on it and could squeeze thru $5s come Monday

[Apr 3, 2011 8:15:54 PM EDT]      Laura Nice different colors Nate

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:02 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive thx ha

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:11 PM EDT]      Laura really helps I think

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:25 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the point is – there’s no right or wrong answer here, play what you see – you either caught they first move or you didn’t

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:34 PM EDT]      Laura true

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive if you didn’t no big deal don’t just pull the trigger because you don’t want to ‘miss”

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:43 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive just wait for it to re-set up again

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:50 PM EDT]      Laura I’ve caught some of T530s early and banked

[Apr 3, 2011 8:16:59 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive wait til you see a set up like I covered in the 3 favorite set ups seminar powerpoint

[Apr 3, 2011 8:17:06 PM EDT]      Laura and I’ve got in a bit late like KV.A

[Apr 3, 2011 8:17:20 PM EDT]      Laura but still. he’s one to watch

[Apr 3, 2011 8:17:29 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the best way to trade his alerts (and yes biaggo and Mud found it b4 but…. he posted the REASON why it was popping)

[Apr 3, 2011 8:17:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the key I find with his alerts is they are going to do 1 of 3 things

[Apr 3, 2011 8:17:49 PM EDT]      Laura and………I’ve passed on some cuz too late, or didn’t like it

[Apr 3, 2011 8:17:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 1. pop and shoot to the moon

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 2. pop and then consolidate and die off

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:14 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 3. do nothing but maybe get a bit more volume

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so I like his alerts because worst case if you get in

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:34 PM EDT]      Laura but oh boy, if a former runner and the news makes sense………NICE

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and it doesn’t pop with you in it …

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive just get out

[Apr 3, 2011 8:18:44 PM EDT]      Laura right

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:01 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive if it does nothing …… it usually hovers around the same price

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:07 PM EDT]      Laura I jumped on TIVO, then realized I hate that stock, jumped right out

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive his sources as well as others are all hitting newswires of big time traders all at the same time

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:25 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it’s a momo trade not a marriage

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:32 PM EDT]      Laura right

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so get in, fraud call .. get short… wahtever but

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the times I lose on them is … for example

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive fraud call, took it short

[Apr 3, 2011 8:19:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but it kinda hovered around the area

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:00 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive then 10-20 min later

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:03 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive starts doing the opposite

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive when I should have just taken it off for even or small dime loss or soemthing

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:20 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and I end up having a head ache

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so – that’s how you’ve got to trade those types

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:44 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and never feel that you have to jump in cuz you don’t want to miss

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the way we trade is about patience

[Apr 3, 2011 8:20:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive there’s always another one coming

[Apr 3, 2011 8:21:20 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive any questions on that one re: LOCM or those types of alerts?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:21:47 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  nope.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:21:52 PM EDT]      Xtraderr               yes on those former runners is it better to chase pops or wait for dip

[Apr 3, 2011 8:22:32 PM EDT]      Xtraderr               especially when theres news involved

[Apr 3, 2011 8:22:39 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive its all relative, is it a small pop? how close off support?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:22:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive is it a move your familiar with?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:22:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive is the pop on vol, but only like 10 cent risk from where it popped off?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:23:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it’s all about risk vs. reward

[Apr 3, 2011 8:23:09 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and scale in accordingly

[Apr 3, 2011 8:24:07 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive If you miss you can always wait to see if it keeps on gonig see first pull back and snag the move off the first push

[Apr 3, 2011 8:24:44 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive any other questions on that topic?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:24:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive a good example of a former one that I screwed up on

[Apr 3, 2011 8:24:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive RPRX Friday

[Apr 3, 2011 8:25:02 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I snagged, my risk was 10 cents

[Apr 3, 2011 8:25:04 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive bought on the pop

[Apr 3, 2011 8:25:23 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but like I was saying a min ago about fraud calls and those types of alerts

[Apr 3, 2011 8:25:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive you see the momo, nice pop but no follow thru, fine… get out move on

[Apr 3, 2011 8:25:52 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive instead I overstayed my welcome … didn’t get the pop back over .60 that I wanted to exit on

[Apr 3, 2011 8:25:59 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and then ate sh*t into the late day fade

[Apr 3, 2011 8:26:10 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive cuz I didn’t get out while there was still interest at the .55+ level

[Apr 3, 2011 8:26:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive alright guess no more on that topic, or you guys are just real slow typers ha

[Apr 3, 2011 8:26:57 PM EDT]      KADUTRADE       were thinking

[Apr 3, 2011 8:27:02 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive QUESTION: IL you frequently post “XYZ, XYZ, XYZ, XYZ on scan currently” during the day…does this mean you’ve been alerted to these certain stocks from your scan system because of volume etc………or are you checking them out intraday for possible plays?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:27:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Firstly – You can learn about the equity feed scan right here: http://www.investorsunderground.com/2010/02/28/equityfeed-q-stocks-pull-backs-bounces-seminar/ I can go over it again if more questions.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:27:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive The point of the scan is it’s providing me with stocks that meet certain liquidity parameters that if it HITS scan.. I know it’s liquid enough for me to get in and out with a normal size position and also liquid enough for the chat room to be trading the momentum.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:27:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive As you’ll see I’ll often post immediately after some1 post a lower float low volume stock to just be careful because as fast as they go up they can come down with the lower volume stuff – my scan tends to provide stocks with a more legitimate MARKET so that trades can trade the trend in and out.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive for example

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive some of those .01-.02 stocks that float up on 1-2 m shares

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:14 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive from .003

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:21 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive sure, might have some momo but it’s really only traded $20k

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive my scan AVOIDS giving me those tickers

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but gives me stuff that has traded $75-100k+ at least

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:46 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and over 50-75+ trades

[Apr 3, 2011 8:28:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive ie: more legit market

[Apr 3, 2011 8:29:22 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive vs. just joeschmo larry and bob buying $5k worth of stock at .003 005 01 to get it on radars and trying to dump at .03

[Apr 3, 2011 8:29:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive They are all worth watching for an opportunity – many times they end up being great swing and you’ll see them on my scan the very next day, like CTSO that was suggested at .17 for a swing play since 75% of the volume was on the offer side (ie: mostly buying) with a suggested stop/risk at .15 cents (ie: 2 cents per share) as you saw here: http://www.InvestorsLive.com/2011/03/29/i-wont-even-mention-it-scan-for-the-30th/

[Apr 3, 2011 8:29:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive That’s what my new scan is all about – same parameters as before but with a 75% offer hit option selected, which tells me it’s being accumulated. It may not be ready on day one but it’s worth watching if it hits scan for 2-3 days because as soon as it does lift… it’s going to pop.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:14 PM EDT]      KADUTRADE       need a lot help on EF…specialy on screen custon filter,…to follow along the day

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive EF is covered in the link I gave

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:33 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive towards the very end

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:35 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive last 15 minutes

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:40 PM EDT]      KADUTRADE       great…tks

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive tells you exactly how it’s set up

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:51 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but you can always fine tune and try new things

[Apr 3, 2011 8:30:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive like me… always learning… always trying to new things

[Apr 3, 2011 8:31:52 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive questions on that topic/ equityfeed and/or what to do with them in chat etc

[Apr 3, 2011 8:31:57 PM EDT]      KADUTRADE       i just would like to check Laura‘s list personaly……and i wanna know when i got prive..vol…move etc etc

[Apr 3, 2011 8:31:59 PM EDT]      wcwc69                IL that page is an older version of EF and EF is very hard to figure out to use… i still can’t set up that scan yet

[Apr 3, 2011 8:32:18 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Laura doesn’t scan/list for OTCs Kadutrade –

[Apr 3, 2011 8:32:23 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive her list is Nasdaqs and Muddy‘s

[Apr 3, 2011 8:32:33 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive they do trade them and find them – Muddy does a mid day scan I think on stockfetcher

[Apr 3, 2011 8:32:43 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but they are not running a steaming filter

[Apr 3, 2011 8:32:44 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive like equityfeed

[Apr 3, 2011 8:32:56 PM EDT]      ballsmahoney    Nate – you just alluded to it, but I’ll ask anyway. Based on how heavy the trading is on a given stock, do you adjust how much $ you put into a certain play? Obviously, there’s risk of getting “stuck” if you’re carrying big volume in a smaller volume stock. Is there a rule of thumb based on avg daily volume to ensure your holdings remain liquid?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:33:15 PM EDT]      freerandy            what is the threshold liquidity threshold roughly 100K dollar volume? . . . might be worth a mention so folks are aware of this important point should they alert . . .a big move without any real dollar volume is more often a trap to lure you in than a good tradeable alert that has possible momentum . . . wouldn’t you agree?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:33:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive wcw – the filter information is the same – you just have to input it I can try copying and pasting what it looks like

[Apr 3, 2011 8:33:17 PM EDT]      Arisside                so when you announce that these stocks are currently on scan, that’s from your equity feeder right?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive re: ballsmahoney – yes more liquidity more I can play, doesn’t mean I will but for example if it’s trading 1 million shares – that’s great liqudity at .30-.40 cents

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:13 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but am I going to play nearly 200k shares like CTSO?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 20% of the volume no way

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:22 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so yes, it’s relative to the volume etc

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:32 PM EDT]      jonthegreek1    so if it hits scan

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive stuff like CTSO is so liquid you can trade 50-100k shares without an issue

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:43 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and even more

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:43 PM EDT]      jonthegreek1    might be a good idea to get in?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:34:54 PM EDT]      ballsmahoney    roger that. thx.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:35:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive freerandy – yes and no, there isn’t an answer for that .. think of all the ones that start with hardly any volume at .003

[Apr 3, 2011 8:35:33 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive we say holy crap at .02

[Apr 3, 2011 8:35:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive then they are at .20 later in the day

[Apr 3, 2011 8:36:11 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but most times I ignore those type unless they hit the scan and liquidty is up there – most times you’ll just see me warn on them

[Apr 3, 2011 8:36:18 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive until they become luquid enough

[Apr 3, 2011 8:36:24 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive cuz the fact is … sometimes its the first seller wins

[Apr 3, 2011 8:36:29 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive on the lower vol ones, just like you mentioned

[Apr 3, 2011 8:36:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it’s all fun and games… until someone smashes the bid

[Apr 3, 2011 8:37:14 PM EDT]      freerandy            does the scan use a specific dollar volume in the scan?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:37:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive yes that’s the $75-100k parameter i was saying abouve

[Apr 3, 2011 8:37:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive above

[Apr 3, 2011 8:37:41 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive as a low end

[Apr 3, 2011 8:37:44 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and unlimited high end

[Apr 3, 2011 8:38:26 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Arisside – when I state “ABC, DEF, …. XYZ” on scan currently yes, – and to hit on jonthegreeks point – no it doesn’t mean consider getting in – it means watch for something we’re familiar with – beachbum is really great on these too, many times he’ll like a stock I put up there off scan

[Apr 3, 2011 8:38:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and then when he sees it gear off base or hit nHODs or volume come in etc

[Apr 3, 2011 8:39:02 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so it’s sorta like that – just what he or others do

[Apr 3, 2011 8:39:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive they are now on radar

[Apr 3, 2011 8:39:05 PM EDT]      jonthegreek1    got ya thanks…. i just want to learn so I can contribute and help out

[Apr 3, 2011 8:39:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive if they pull back and hold, start to perk into close

[Apr 3, 2011 8:39:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive or vol surge or a trend comes in whatever…

[Apr 3, 2011 8:39:27 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive then yes we already know its liquid enough – and ready to roll

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:03 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive any other questions on that topic?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and the other thing – the accumulation ones that I see on scan a lot

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:21 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 1-2 days in a row

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:21 PM EDT]      cbrought21         Makes sense…Thanks.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:25 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive worth watching the charts if they have good support

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:27 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive like VASO for example

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:28 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive CTSO

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:51 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive stuff like that – if risk/reward is in your court b/c the chart has nice support level but it’s beeon scan for 2 days and hasn’t moved….

[Apr 3, 2011 8:40:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the 2nd you see it finally break up higher

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:02 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive prob a great long

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:06 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive ur risk is at that support level

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:27 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive CTSO was that predictable… no of course not

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:33 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:43 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it was on my scan for a few days and heavy accumulation

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:51 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so obviously someone knew something

[Apr 3, 2011 8:41:53 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and the scan told us

[Apr 3, 2011 8:42:07 PM EDT]      ballsmahoney    do you find the support level through Level 2 or chart, or both?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:42:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive chart

[Apr 3, 2011 8:42:36 PM EDT]      jonthegreek1    one the scanners… are those how you guys discovered WRIT and ALZM?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:42:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive doesn’t mean I’m right or wrong either… just what I feel is support psychologically and technically

[Apr 3, 2011 8:42:51 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive No, those were newsletter pumps

[Apr 3, 2011 8:43:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Anything else related to this subject b4 I cover the next

[Apr 3, 2011 8:43:48 PM EDT]      Arisside                i had a question about CTSO but it was covered

[Apr 3, 2011 8:43:57 PM EDT]      Arisside                the support/resistance

[Apr 3, 2011 8:44:20 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive ok, what’s your question?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:44:25 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive or you mean, you’re al set

[Apr 3, 2011 8:44:34 PM EDT]      Arisside                kind of..

[Apr 3, 2011 8:44:48 PM EDT]      Arisside                were we looking for it to break the support or resistance before moving in?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:10 PM EDT]      Arisside                Because it was hovering around .45 for awhile when you alerted, but I didn’t know whether to buy then or not

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive “Cytosorbents Corporation (CTSO.OB) long possiblity for a swing risk = .15”

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it was just a swing suggestion

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive risk of 2 cents

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive from .17

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:49 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive oh ur referring to Friday

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:53 PM EDT]      Arisside                yeah

[Apr 3, 2011 8:45:56 PM EDT]      Arisside                Friday’s

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:00 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive yea around .45 – I had suggested a short

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:03 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive into the AM gap

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:28 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive “This is a potential gap play that will crap (may short the gap) if it craps fast I will be looking for the bounce off any fast panic – should be in play through the day with a few trades”

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive from the watchlist for Friday

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:45 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive which brings me to the next question related to CTSO

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:56 PM EDT]      Arisside                Ok thank you, now it makes sense

[Apr 3, 2011 8:46:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive which and please don’t take offense the person who asked but

[Apr 3, 2011 8:47:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive this is where you guys NEED to review scans or do SOME homework

[Apr 3, 2011 8:47:13 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive because look you’re gonna get clobbered

[Apr 3, 2011 8:47:19 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive if you just buy random stuff and think it’s going to go up

[Apr 3, 2011 8:47:34 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive CTSO, I pick it at 0.45 after the minor gap at 9:30am today. You waited and picked it up at 0.0359 made your profits and got out. Three questions: 1. How did you know the gap will take much longer? I was trying to get it before it goes higher. 2. Are you using any special software tools or Studies to detect such cases? 3. Which additional studies would you recommend? I’m using all the common ones (stochastic slow, Williams%, ON Balance Vol, SMA 5, 10 days, MCAD and lately added Itchimoko)

[Apr 3, 2011 8:47:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I think this was just you being impatient or like most traders who don’t have a developed strategy YET who are afraid to MISS the move … and they see upticks and forget to consider the fact that the stock jumped from .17 just days ago.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:47:51 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Additionally, if you read the scan at night I said “Watch for a GAP and CRAP” I said “This is a potential gap play that will crap (may short the gap) if it craps fast I will be looking for the bounce off any fast panic”

[Apr 3, 2011 8:48:22 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Now don’t take offense to this but seriously, guys… if you can’t read a simple scan coming into the day and get prepared for stocks – don’t bother trading – A big portion of trading is having an idea of what you may want to do with a stock the next day – and when it hits your radar you are ready. This is where we like to make $$ off the people who chase the gap, add on a dip and then start to panic sell as it breaks under .35 and creates a nice panic dip for us.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:48:38 PM EDT]      egivoni all points taken well, I’m all set…

[Apr 3, 2011 8:48:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Every single hour I have the chat scroll the member page for new members – this is the stuff I’m talkin’ about too over the past 3 seminars

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:01 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive new member page too

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:09 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it says Candlestick chart

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:11 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Volume

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:14 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 1 minute chart

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:19 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive THAT’S WHAT I USE

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive period

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:41 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive end of convo

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:53 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive “well do you ever use … w/ charts … “

[Apr 3, 2011 8:49:55 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive no no no no

[Apr 3, 2011 8:50:10 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive What I use is 1 min candlestick chart + volume – period.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:50:46 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive new members – spend 30min each night or few hours on weekend: http://www.investorsunderground.com/members/ right here

[Apr 3, 2011 8:50:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I will continue to build that to the point where it’s like a picture tutorial

[Apr 3, 2011 8:51:14 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but just have a drive to learn and you will do better, those that don’t .. won’t

[Apr 3, 2011 8:51:34 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Any questions on that – I know lots on CTSO

[Apr 3, 2011 8:51:44 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but anything related to that play Friday

[Apr 3, 2011 8:52:07 PM EDT]      egivoni this clears a lot for me, thank you!

[Apr 3, 2011 8:53:01 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive QUESTION: FASV, besides the price action, why did you stay away from it? My guess is, after I got burned on it, because it got “pumped” but mailers haven’t hit (it wasn’t making that nice inching mode, like LEXG, UTOG, ALZM in it’s early days) if they’ll hit at all?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:53:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I believe I had mentioned some round of mailers had hit, someone I know/trust had received one if I remember correctly. But the point here isn’t that – it’s the price action. UTOG, LEXG, ALZM had a trend, LEXG had the first big day pulls back next day on no vol shake the tree about they supported large, same thing second day – none of the first days sellers were on the offer, so they were just working out the traders.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:53:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive ALZM and UTOG had momentum each day… FASV had a good morning move then couldn’t even hold green – if they can’t hold green on day 1 of a promo – no thanks, never was really ‘strong’ after that – so I suggested waiting until it started to ‘inch’ again something which we are familiar with.

[Apr 3, 2011 8:55:39 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive FASV just didn’t hold trend – so no sense to keep forcing a trade on it

[Apr 3, 2011 8:55:44 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive like BARZ for example

[Apr 3, 2011 8:55:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive or wahtever it is

[Apr 3, 2011 8:56:21 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive yea BARZ

[Apr 3, 2011 8:56:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive is it something – yes…

[Apr 3, 2011 8:56:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive is there enough vol for me to be interested?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:56:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive no

[Apr 3, 2011 8:56:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so I ignore

[Apr 3, 2011 8:56:41 PM EDT]      chunger               “sellers were on the offer” – are you getting this from Level 2?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:57:10 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I know the ticker BARZ so if I see it hitting scan momo, pre list etc then I know game on … but until then until it bust $1.50 again and trades 500-1,

[Apr 3, 2011 8:57:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 1m shares

[Apr 3, 2011 8:57:15 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I’m not touching

[Apr 3, 2011 8:57:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive yea the normal sellers who were selling the prior 2 days and every day since chunger – weren’t it was just retail MMs like me and you on the offer

[Apr 3, 2011 8:57:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive ie: just traders getting out

[Apr 3, 2011 8:58:08 PM EDT]      C2CFinancial       is mudd here?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:58:39 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Any further questions related to that question?

[Apr 3, 2011 8:58:40 PM EDT]      graider  so generally anything below 1m shares you won’t touch

[Apr 3, 2011 8:58:49 PM EDT]      jout8     so like on ALZM you saw AUTO selling

[Apr 3, 2011 8:58:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive no I will touch stuff graider – but for example on BARZ

[Apr 3, 2011 8:58:57 PM EDT]      jout8     but no MM selling on FASV

[Apr 3, 2011 8:59:08 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive everyone all excited “mailer, read disclaimer blah blah”

[Apr 3, 2011 8:59:08 PM EDT]      jout8     no one “running” it

[Apr 3, 2011 8:59:14 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but … so what .. you need the stock to prove its good

[Apr 3, 2011 8:59:22 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive not just by reading a digital # in a disclaimer and thinking it will be good

[Apr 3, 2011 8:59:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive jout no, AUTO is just WDCO using another market maker

[Apr 3, 2011 8:59:58 PM EDT]      jout8     yea

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:00 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I was referring to LEXG and the 2 sellers that had stock

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:06 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive on the first day

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and then it dipped but they remained

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:12 PM EDT]      KADUTRADE       how you determine de appropriate volume good to for you to consider a entry, how can i stablish this on my EF watch list, ….i mean, relation price/vol

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:15 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive at same price

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:19 PM EDT]      jout8     but no one “running” FASV

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive kadutrade – just what hits scan on EF like I said, and watch for a trend

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive what do u mean jout?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:39 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive they sent a mailer on it

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive it has hit

[Apr 3, 2011 9:00:50 PM EDT]      Professor            A reference list of MMs and their “Aliases” might be helpful.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:03 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive nah, that can be done by watching and learning on your own Professor

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:06 PM EDT]      jout8     yea, so like ALZM/UTOG they had pushers/support/sellers

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:06 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive as I’ve discussed before

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:09 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive just like I learned by watching

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:11 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so should you

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive otherwise it’s just going to confuse you

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:20 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I have mentioned stuff b4

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:24 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and hten I get PMs

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:33 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and people say “VERT on offer so this is bad” blah blah

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and have no idea

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so just watch and learn

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive over and over

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive take chat comments and sooner or later you’ll see the same stuff over and over

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:53 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive watch all thepennypic deals

[Apr 3, 2011 9:01:55 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive its the same thing over and over

[Apr 3, 2011 9:02:01 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive same way we find the crazypenny edals

[Apr 3, 2011 9:02:11 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but as far as a list of MMs or whatever, not happening

[Apr 3, 2011 9:02:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive just going to confuse you guys – because you don’t take it as I say it.. you take what I say and make your own judgement and then let it change ur trading

[Apr 3, 2011 9:02:59 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive when in reality, ur making your own wrong assumptions and would have been better off not knowing anything at all

[Apr 3, 2011 9:03:02 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and just trading the trend

[Apr 3, 2011 9:03:22 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive when you start to ‘get it’ by watching .. is when it’ll be advantageous to you

[Apr 3, 2011 9:03:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive until then … just keep learning and soaking in price action and MM movement

[Apr 3, 2011 9:03:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive related to specific websites and deals

[Apr 3, 2011 9:04:49 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive any other questions on that topic?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:05:13 PM EDT]      ballsmahoney    any site you recommend for L2?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:05:33 PM EDT]      jout8     InvestorsLive.com its FREE =D

[Apr 3, 2011 9:05:47 PM EDT]      C2CFinancial       wich promoting company is/has the best track record of pumping multi day runners? and don’t front run them that much???

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:18 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive this is what I mean about not reading suggested seminars ie: member page

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:22 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive where we go over that stuff in great detail

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:24 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 🙂

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:35 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so some visuals: WRIT

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/3161/writ.png

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive The concept of gearing/perking

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:45 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive on a 1 min chart

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:53 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive this is a chart that I like as a long bias

[Apr 3, 2011 9:06:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive if I miss morning move.. or even if I trade it

[Apr 3, 2011 9:07:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I would consider a long here for a trade, if it pops take some off ride the rest

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:10 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Another example we talked about in chat

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:14 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive said I would screen capture

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:16 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/4977/cxlt.png

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:23 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive CXLT many missed that move I called on red/green there with the volume

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive where could re long it for a momo type trade

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive risk = .28 downside

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:46 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive .30 break w/ vol u can see coming back

[Apr 3, 2011 9:08:50 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive ended up going to like .35 or something

[Apr 3, 2011 9:09:45 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/8271/pranx.png

[Apr 3, 2011 9:09:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive another one PRAN

[Apr 3, 2011 9:09:56 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive had nice move in the AM – we traded this in chat

[Apr 3, 2011 9:10:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive mid day move started to gear and bang volume came in near the HOD break

[Apr 3, 2011 9:10:06 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and it was off

[Apr 3, 2011 9:10:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Another one ASTM

[Apr 3, 2011 9:10:18 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive http://img829.imageshack.us/img829/6606/astm.png

[Apr 3, 2011 9:10:41 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive the point here is risk vs. reward – solid charts coming off support levels – ball is in your court ride the wave, sell if it breaks trend

[Apr 3, 2011 9:10:49 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but trend is only about a dime risk

[Apr 3, 2011 9:11:01 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive And lastly – http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1295/ctso.png

[Apr 3, 2011 9:11:07 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive this is prior to it cracking later but

[Apr 3, 2011 9:11:17 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive gap and the pull back and u can see how they held the .40 level

[Apr 3, 2011 9:11:30 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive once it started to perk off the .40 support bang great trade opportunity

[Apr 3, 2011 9:11:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive take profits into the pop and done

[Apr 3, 2011 9:12:01 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so just some visuals

[Apr 3, 2011 9:12:07 PM EDT]      Laura where you doing those charts? DAS?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:12:47 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive or when I go TEXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXTBOOK!

[Apr 3, 2011 9:13:27 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Last question I didn’t want to hit on earlier since theres so many sites out there like investimonails.com to read up on and/or ask in here after hours .. not really a seminar topic but

[Apr 3, 2011 9:13:32 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Is there a broker that you recommend for shorting OTC stocks? I’m with E-Trade and I’m not able to take short positions on this type of security. Thanks!

[Apr 3, 2011 9:13:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Etrade sucks all around, the only thing they are good for is you can use the money from overnight sold positions immediately without having to contact them and ask them to refresh your buying power. Interactive Brokers has great borrows, ThinkorSwim, SpeedTrader are penson cleared and pretty good borrows (they do not compare to IB though). There are also other brokers out there that have fantastic borrows which are best kept quiet if you ever stumble across them, because as the masses come … the borrows go… and in the end it’s about making money. More friends you tell, less money you make.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:13:54 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive so that’s that – any other questions guys?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:15:10 PM EDT]      ballsmahoney    thank you!

[Apr 3, 2011 9:20:14 PM EDT]      wcwc69                IL does your equityfeed scan pick up on volume spikes?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:20:34 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive graider – I would assume it would “accelerate”

[Apr 3, 2011 9:20:36 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive prior to crash

[Apr 3, 2011 9:28:23 PM EDT]      Jaymo   Graider, look at INHX on Friday. Opens with light volume and puts in a high first thing. consolidates for 45minutes then starts to test highs. Volume comes in and breaks the HOD and it takes off

[Apr 3, 2011 9:28:45 PM EDT]      Jaymo   That’s the perfect morning setup I look for.. otherwise I won’t jump into a trade in the first hour

[Apr 3, 2011 9:29:21 PM EDT]      graider  good to know

[Apr 3, 2011 9:29:35 PM EDT]      Jaymo   Chasing a rip at open never really works for me

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:00 PM EDT]      karen99                I pay 7.95 trading fee. Is that typical?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:13 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  that’s what i pay fidelity.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:25 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I never posted on stocktwits

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive I got banned with Sykes on day 1

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:36 PM EDT]      graider  i’m working full time and doing this at the same time :). so far i found it hard to really focus on the trading side as there are so many alerts, etc in the chat room during the day. what do you suggest in this case Nate?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive they don’t like competition and/or low priced stocks

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:40 PM EDT]      Arisside                i pay 29…. you guys should be happy

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:55 PM EDT]      graider  pick a stock from your list that I like and watch that one each day?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:33:58 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  oh, yeah. Forgot about their penny rule.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:34:00 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  tx

[Apr 3, 2011 9:34:15 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive graider – prepare each night and come into the trading day with a few solid ideas

[Apr 3, 2011 9:34:47 PM EDT]      karen99                thanks. I am a new member. I have been watching a bit for a while. Today, I joined and really learning alot already. thanks

[Apr 3, 2011 9:34:51 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  Graider– I have only about an hour to 3 hours/day to trade becuase of kids…

[Apr 3, 2011 9:34:57 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  so what I do is…

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:06 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  wait for morning dips, around 9:45 am

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:14 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  and kill teh %%%% out of them for about an hour.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:18 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  make money, then leave

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:23 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive actually graider take Rodg3r’s example here – check this weeks logs

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:23 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  and play with kids.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:26 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Weds/Thurs/Friday

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:31 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive Ctrl + F Rodg3r

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:36 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  sorry.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:37 PM EDT]      graider  my thought as well. i also have real bad habit of chasing stock all over place (overtrade) and revenge trading (when i lost, I keep trading more). how do you keep yourself in check or is there anything that help you remind yourself not to do this?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:38 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive his type is the morning AM strength

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:39 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive watch pull back

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:42 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and perk off base

[Apr 3, 2011 9:35:45 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 3 days in a row he’s nailed it

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:05 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive prob more days than that, but just past 3 days I’ve noticed and/or said ::up Rodg nice call etc

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:12 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but – great example is him

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:13 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive as he said

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:35 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  I’ve tried other methods, and stunk,

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:43 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  I can’t trade the pennies.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:43 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive well graider – my suggest is to keep chasing stocks all over until you have no money left and then once you realize that u can lose $$ doing that and how you need to stick to rules

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:51 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive then come back and stick to a plan

[Apr 3, 2011 9:36:58 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive 🙂

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:08 PM EDT]      graider  hahah, LOL

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:23 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive look

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:40 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive and down huge

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:46 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive point is

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:48 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive losses are normal

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:52 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive you have to control them

[Apr 3, 2011 9:37:59 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive if you can’t control them, they will control you

[Apr 3, 2011 9:38:24 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  Graider if you PM me, I can share a couple things that i watch out for. but my approach fits better with those who can buy 1000 shares of something 20 – 50 bucks/share or more.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:38:37 PM EDT]      InvestorsLive but I see Mud dawg typing, I’m sure he has something good to say – but any investimonials post I REALLY APPRECIATE and thank you

[Apr 3, 2011 9:38:43 PM EDT]      Rodg3r  MMost important thing. if trade gets oogy, GET OUT fast!

[Apr 3, 2011 9:39:08 PM EDT]      Muddy in the case of premarket gainers, the higher % ones on the list, i focus real hard and watch their pre highs, and watch where they open, if kinda way off highs i’ll jump them, especially the low floaters and/or the druggies

[Apr 3, 2011 9:39:58 PM EDT]      graider  yeah Nate, i notice in profit.ly, you posted some loss of about 3k. was it that you forgot to get out or you hold it in hope it would come back up.

[Apr 3, 2011 9:40:55 PM EDT]      Muddy plus the momo/pre matches are killing it, especially the ones under $1, they get inching and before you know it you got 30-40-50% on alot of them

[Apr 3, 2011 9:40:56 PM EDT]      jbourb10              lol

[Apr 3, 2011 9:41:08 PM EDT]      wcwc69                $5*

[Apr 3, 2011 9:44:52 PM EDT]      Arisside                Muddy, do you still only use the HOD list from scott trade?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:45:02 PM EDT]      jbourb10              buy a very big mower

[Apr 3, 2011 9:46:08 PM EDT]      Muddy no, i hardly ever chart them during the day, just at night

[Apr 3, 2011 9:46:29 PM EDT]      Xtraderr               why is that tho?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:46:33 PM EDT]      Muddy yes, i cannot live without the hod scroller

[Apr 3, 2011 9:46:53 PM EDT]      Arisside                has anyone told you a good clone of it that’s available in Canada?

[Apr 3, 2011 9:47:18 PM EDT]      graider  so when something hit your HOD or LOD, what exactly does that indicate?
