  1. Hi Nate, can you talk a bit about how you look at SPY when making a trade? If you have a gap up para plan for a stock but SPY is gapping down PM for instance, how would that affect your plan if at all?

  2. I know some traders use other chart tools like rsi, macd or sholastics to help gauge momentum. Is there a reason why you don’t really incorporate any of these into your chart setups? Or maybe I missed this in the DVDs….

    • Nate, I will add: Do you currently use StockFetcher at all or just FinViz for your daily scans?

  3. Can you talk a bit about SPY and if/how it influences your decisions? Also, after you have a break during the lull, what’s your mind set when you get back? Are you looking at the same stocks you’ve been following in the morning?

  4. Regarding AXAS, after 4 days of big UP moves, the chart is clearly overextend but another couple of green days is totally possible.
When a chart is overextended like that, will you focus on shorts more than longs, based on the assumption that it has to come down eventually, therefore longs are riskier?

  5. I’m just getting started and for now I’m limited to trading the first 2-3 hours of the day. Given this limitation I’m wondering if it would be best to focus on momentum or swing trading or if it matters at all. Any tips/suggestions from other morning traders would also be appreciated.

  7. Hey Nate, a few questions for you and thanks in advance!

    1. Today I started shorting AXAS as it was heading G/R. However, there was a tiny bounce off $5.50 before it finally made the G/R move. During this little bounce I got scared and covered my shares. As a result I left a ton of profit on the table. Do you have any suggestions on how to avoid getting scared off by these little bounces when I am shorting a stock? Are there any indicators to look for when these little fake bounces happen to help me determine whether the bounce will fail or not?

    2. I have a tiny account (SureTrader). If you had a small account and your primary goal was to grow the account, what chart setups and what strategy would YOU personally focus on in CURRENT market?

    3. Could you talk a little bit about penny stock promoters in current market? Are there any “legitimate” stock promoters right now? All my penny stock emails seem to alert tickers that have very choppy charts. None of them make any significant moves, and some are just flat-out scams (like VTPI).

    4. What routes do you currently use for NASDAQ trades?
I am using ARCAL in SureTrader but routing fees add up. Are there free routes?

  9. Do you have any suggestions on how to play SNDK around this 85 resistance area? How would you set your risk in going short… or maybe playing it long if you think it will break out?
