Monitors… whether you have one, two, three or ten… it’s still nice to be able to save screen real estate where you can. Fortunately the chat room has a “Float or Unfloat” feature. Second to the trade alerts within the chat room this comes in a close second to best things about the chat.

Going left to right on the options bar is Bold (reserved for moderators) italics, color, emoticons, and audibles. The green stop circle is to change your status message, but the most important is the four arrows pointing outward, if you click that it will give you a floating window. (NOTE: You cannot close the active window its floating from otherwise it will sign you out of chat) This will allow you to minimize, maximize and adjust the window to any size that fits your screen.

Another area of the chat that allows you to customize is found under the option tab in the top toolbar. You can adjust sounds whether you’d like them on when you receive a private message, a user joins, exits or if audibles are used. If you are looking for less clutter within the chat you can unclick “Show Join/Leave” off.
